FOOD = 5 STAR Ambiance = 3 star Service = 1 star When the crackers for the soup fall on the floor as the server was walking with it.. DON'T pick them up off the floor and put them on the customer's table to be eaten.. it's GROSS.. the server was nice, but they clearly have no clue about food service. Used to love this place.. but will NEVER be back I left a 5 star review because it's not the owner's fault.

One of my favorite places in Long Branch. Food is always fresh, full of flavor and well presented. It never disappoints. The wraps are my go, but e everything is delicious.

We love it there. It's a must when we go to Long Beach.I am a creature of habit and get the London Broil sandwich every time I go. I add fresh mozzarella and regular mayo.My kids since they were young (now off to college in the fall) love their spring rolls. They customize them to their liking. If we bring newcomers we always bring them there. My husband has tried many things on the menu and has never been disappointed. His favorite is the grilled tuna steak sandwich. We all get smoothies fresh & delicious.Parking: During the summer season parking can be a little challenging but I've never not been able to get a spot with a little patience.

Ocean Cafe in Long Branch is an absolute culinary utopia, where every bite takes you on an extraordinary flavor adventure. Their menu, brimming with exceptionally fresh delights, is a testament to their commitment to gastronomic perfection. Personally, I find myself helplessly entranced by their tofu wraps and the eggplant sandwich that defies all expectations. The ambiance of this little haven is an enchanting fusion of quaintness and warmth, where the staff, with their supernaturally delightful presence, elevate the dining experience to unprecedented levels of bliss. Whether you visit as a lone traveler seeking solace or with a merry band of friends, the staff's graciousness and attentiveness ensure that your every need is met with the utmost care. Ocean Cafe is not just a restaurant; it's a refuge of unparalleled freshness, familiarity, and kindness that transcends the ordinary. Prepare to be swept away into a realm of culinary delight where dreams come true, one delectable bite at a time.

Food is always consistent (been coming here for over a decade) — it’s a true staple for the area!

First time ordering on line. Wasn’t greeted other than “picking up or placing an order” then a bag was placed on the counter. That’s all . Had to ask if I was supposed to sign something.Food was great- would be 5 star if I got a greeting and/or thank you. Plus, the counter person would have gotten a $5 cash tip. Summer transient season is OVER!Be nice to your local customers!

Its very unfortunate that we can only support a handful of establishments in the area especially during the winter months, and we are stuck with what we have here. Ocean Cafe is charging 13.95 for a salad that should be no more than 5.50. Do they think people are so unaware of food costs? Not to compare, but I happen to be in Vic's in Bradley Beach three nights ago, and I got four times the salad, seated in a restaurant, for the same price! Same with almost every fine restaurant in this area. Ocean Cafe went too far with the rip off scam prices. At 9.00, I would keep my mouth shut, at 10.00 too. 14 and change with tax, for what I got, was perverse. I agree with the woman who wrote below that "just stay home and make your own salad, save your time and money", I can make salads for three people every night of the week with fresher better ingredients from Costco with the money I paid Ocean Cafe for one mediocre salad. This will not be the first business to be destroyed by their own greed.
