Order on DoorDash and spend 20 total just to get my food melted and no peanut butter or Nutella like I asked and I looked at the receipt to see if I accidentally didn’t added them and I sure did and there very cheap with the amount put in the bowl

I have to say how disappointed I am with the service (rudeness) and bowl I received at Playa Bowl in Pier Village in Long Branch. I travel around quite a bit and check out Playa Bowls all over the area. My fave bowl is the —Nutelloco—half açaí and half coconut base. I ordered it and mentioned I received a text with a discount for my birthday. She placed the order, curtly told me to enter my phone number and tossed the screen at me for a tip. I gave her one but honestly, she was so rude and barely looked at me so I shouldn’t have.When I got my bowl, I noticed my Nutelloco had no Nutella in it. I walked over to let her know and instead of apologizing or offering me a coupon for another one, she squirted Nutella on what was left and I walked out. It was such an unpleasant experience. I won’t be visiting this store again.

The playa bowls were just average at best, it tasted like a bowl of mush with fruit on top, the fruit was good and cut nice. The real problem was how messy and unsanitary the costumer tables were. They are lucky the health department didn’t check in. Clean up your act long branch. That is a sock on the counter, yes a sock, unless your Dobby the house elf that is not a good sight.
it was a hot and sunny morning and i got the itch to go to the beach. after applying my spf 30, i hopped on my unicycle and made my 45 minute journey to long branch. when i arrived, i was so utterly dehydrated, sweating my balls off. i looked to my left and i saw a “Playa Bowls” sign and i knew what had to be done. i ordered a nutella bowl with no coconut flakes of course! the line was long but it was so worth it. that fruit bowl hit all the right spots and completely quenched my thirst. if you ever get the chance to go to playa bowls, don’t even hesitate. it’s healthy and delicious. the employee natalie makes a mean bowl. we love her. slay natalie!!
