Relaxed place with a varied menu of snacks and appetizers. And several games playing on the TVs

When I first move to long range 424 was a chunky bar. Then a new owner bought it AND TERD IT AR WHAT'S IN THE 20 YEARS IT'S BEEN THE ONLY PLACE WHERE YOU CAN GET LIQUOR PAST 12:00 AND 10:00 BUT IT'S ALL RIGHT NOT THE BEST PLACE BUT IF YOU NEED LIQUOR AFTER 10 TELL ME TO GET OUT OF THERE

Very disappointed. The server was very nice but I've eaten in many Portuguese restaurants & this one was very poor quality. And though it was my fault for not looking at the receipt better but also because i have a hard time seeing they automatically charged an 18% gratuity on 2 people and I double tipped. I know it's not the responsibility of the server but she should have said something about there being a double tip & then it would have been up to me if I wanted to give her the extra tip or not. I definitely will not return.

I was really unsure if the food here would be satisfying but I’m really glad I decided to try it out. Food was awesome, the service was great and I really enjoyed myself. I definitely recommend this place

We have been coming here for a while, it’s either hit or miss with food and service. So last night confirmed that we will not be spending our money here anymore. We will do the drive to Newark or cook home when wanting Portuguese food. The place is convenient to home so we always tried overlooking the negatives. We were both very sick after eating here last night. Simple dishes, grilled chicken sandwich and fish with shrimp, salad had to be sent back because it was slimy and wilted. The rolls were frozen cold in center. Overly salted and old Fish, rubber texture chicken breast. And I can certainly do without the servers filing their nails at the bar while making drinks. Not to mention that there is no need to be flirting with the male customers at bar and not being attentive to the female guests. Please keep your personal conversation in a distance from your paying customers.Good thing I am the one that does the tipping.Very unprofessional and rude.As well as the fact that it’s 16 degrees outside! Please put the heat on for your non drinking customers to be comfortable. I understand the drinking people stay warm but not the children or non alcohol drinking older customers. Thank you.

Food was delicious. The picadillo was flavorful and not greasy at all. The skirt steak was a little over cooked but good.

Living nearby my wife and I gave Por do Sol a shot. Unfortunately, the food for the most part was not good. The picanha had gristle that ran through all 3 pieces. The seafood paella had flavor, but the seafood was rubbery and overdone. The French fries that were served with the picanha were soggy and cold. Disappointing Saturday night dinner $115.00 later.
