The food was overpriced and didn't seem very tasty. I ordered the chicken, costilla de vaca and picana tray separately. 4 slices of meat. I had to order more food from a different restaurant. White rice, (flavorless), and french fries, beans were on the side. I recommend Long Branch BBQ on Broadway in Long Branch. It's a better price for the same dish and it tastes even better. No, I won't go back to Raizes de Portugal.

The place is good, the food is very delicious but the service is very bad. I traveled an hour and 15 minutes to go eat at that place so the waitress gave us terrible service and when we told the owner she was like OK and what do you want me to do? service was very different what a pity for those people or the employees being like that or the owners

good if you go to eat on a week day. love the food so we booked for Valentine’s Day. instead of an intimate dinner we had a headache and a hungry belly. food took 1.5 hours and the live music was loud to the point where you couldn’t converse.

Unfortunately we tried the paella and the seafood wasn't fresh. It was frozen type seafood from restaurant Depot. But we did have the fish cakes extremely delicious. And the lobster clams and mussels were certainly fresh. Just having the mix bag of seafood which consists of shrimp, imitation crab meat. And something supposed to be like clam isn't good. Having that delicious rice well seasoned and flavored mixed with fresh wonderful seafood and fake imitation frozen was a throw off. But they certainly have fresh whole fish and prawns and things of that nature. We also had fresh prawns in the paella. It was really good. I would just suggest you remove the imitation Frozen mixed bag seafood.

Place is delicious. Can’t remember the last time I ordered off of DoorDash and got a well balanced, great quality meal. The portions are perfect if you’re hungry. My first time trying this place and I will be back!

Food is very good, service is good if they understood more of English speaking.
Asked for a large salad for 3 & they gave us a very small $8 salad and charged $2 for a glass of tap water...not impressed.
