Traditional deli in an odd space. From the outside signage I thought it was Mexican...which it is, after 4pm. The restaurant filled up quickly after 12:30.
It's a shared space with a deli & Mexican restaurant/night club at night.
The food was delicious & huge.
Service was excellent & very courteous.

Sub was ok. The bread really killed it though. Dry and almost like chalk. Save yourself the disappointment, and go across the street to Neil's.

Haven't been there in a while.
Corned beef sandwich was very moist and tasty, rye bread was fresh, homemade chips were great.
My wife had French toast with pecans and she loved it.
Riley is a great server.
We'll definitely be back to try the Mexican menu.
Parking: Plenty of parking in their lot.

The sandwiches were amazing, classic jersey subs on great bread. I will definitely be back. I ordered three of them to go, though, and it took over 20 minutes to be served. Also, one of the sandwiches I ordered was supposed to be a vegetarian caprese sandwich, and they put turkey on it. No one else was there at the time, fairly early (like 11am I think?). So I will definitely order ahead next time and check my order before I leave. They pack the sandwiches in a cardboard box they can't wrap them like for a deli. Big selection of non alcoholic drinks. Looked like there was a bar, not open yet when I was there. It is fairly expensive for a deli.

My friend and I ordered the Ruben today at lunch. It had absolutely no flavor. The meat was dark brown and had no taste. A big disappointment. We told the server and his reply made no sense. He said the Ruben’s are made with a thicker cut. This thickness of the meat was not the issue.
Went to have breakfast there for the first time &!was presently surprised .everything was excellent! Place was empty. People don’t realize it’s the same owner as Jacks where the food is always good. Surprised it’s not a big breakfast spot in town yet. Better advertising possibly would help. Tell patrons at Jacks.I will definitely spread the word ??

I had a Reuben sandwich. Unfortunately, I was expecting the same quality as the previous owner. Today, the corned beef seemed old, dried out and tasteless. It was barely warm, soggy bread on the bottom, with a little Sauerkraut a little Swiss cheese. The previous owner served it open-faced, piled high with freshly sliced corned beef, a pile of sauerkraut and smothered with Swiss cheese. It wasn't even close. Coleslaw was good, homemade potato chips were good and coffee was delicios. I told the waiter but he didn't really respond and he was very busy, poor guy. He was the only server.

It's a classic place if you're interested in a deli. I used to go there 40 yrs ago and the food still doesn't disappoint. Their Ruben is definitely worth trying with their homemade chips.
