We had a wonderful experience at Rooney's Oceanfront Restaurant in Long Branch. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the oceanfront setting made it the perfect place to celebrate my son's 20th birthday. This pains me to write this. Rooney's is one of our favorite restaurants. I have hosted birthday parties, repasts, and many out of town guests there because of the food, service and atmosphere. But we were there for my birthday Tuesday night and we were enjoying our entrees when they sat a dog at an adjoining table. There is no place to compare to Rooneys in Long Branch, NJ - always a great meal, perfectly made drinks and the staff is professional and kind. The atmosphere is like no other restaurant on the Jersey Shore and a parking lot is a plus!
