The ladies at the counter use their bare hands to handle the slice orders. Nails, especially long nails, are UNSANITARY and you cannot touch all over food people are buying with bare hands. When you handle food for the public, you either need to use gloves or use a spatula. Plus y’all need to wash your hands more frequently. Our hands are used for everything and people get exposed to whatever it is that you touched. #ServSafe

Scala's is a nice neighborhood pizzeria that brought back memories of my childhood eating pizza in NYC. I had the white pie with garlic. This was a perfectly crafted thin and crispy pizza that could stand up to the best of NYC pizzerias.

Not only was this place black owned it was the most amazing pizza I ever tasted...amazing prices and service
I came into Scalas after football practice with my 2 kids and husband, Jillian the girl at the counter was super patient with my kids and accommodating. Giving them crayons and answering any questions they had. She was efficient and made sure all our food came out quickly and that we had everything we needed, food was delicious too!

We waited over an hour for delivery. Choose another pizza place. We ordered 4 pies and 1 gluten free pizza to a location less than 10 minutes away from Scala’s. I was called by the store at least 25 minutes after I ordered to be informed they did not have the gluten free option that was listed on their website. Additionally, I waited over 1 hour for the delivery man to even start driving. I called the store and was told “the order didn’t go through correctly on the app that they use called “slice,” but clearly it did because they already called to tell me something I ordered wasn’t available. I was also told the delivery man was leaving at that moment. It was at least another 15-20 minutes before he arrived. The total was over $150 and there was 0 apology over the phone or from the delivery man. Do not waste your time or money at this establishment as they will do nothing to compensate for their own mistakes.

This place is excellent! The pizza is always so good and fresh, the staff from the well experienced pizza maker, polite girls behind the counter. The owners are often there asking how everything is and are always so nice! I come here a few times a week off the atmosphere alone! 5 stars

We waited an hour and 20 minutes for a cold pizza when they told us delivery would be 45 minutes. The salad was horrible because it was warm because they packed it with the pizza. When the other owners had it, they use different ingredients and the quality of the product was much better. It is time to look for a new pizza place for us $40 for a cold pizza and a small salad.??????

The servers made our day. Was introduced by my friend to white pizza which I usually avoid but this one is ?. Warning: 2 of us shared the cold appetizer plate; the serving was so generous I still took more than 1/2 home. A bowl of pastafagiolli soup is a meal in itself, leaving me with no room for pizza.
