Great pizza, delicious pasta dishes, and wrap/subs can be made to order. Any time I made alterations to my meals, they were successfully made which is a plus!
5 stRs BUT this is NOT a 100% positive review.1) Pizza was EXCELLENT2) Service was EXCELLENT3) Atmosphere ..all is good very clean and good music... all EXCEPT for the delivery guy who was BLASTIN his phone while he watched Friends.. he was clueless that people were annoyed..But it's not the owners fault, so 5 stars across the board.. hopefully the owner will see this and correct the issue going forward.

We were visiting family at the Jersey shore for thanksgiving and were looking for a good slice. We live in Texas, where good pizza is really hard to find and great pizza is IMPOSSIBLE to find. But we were raised in NJ, which (IMO) has the best pie in the country. We were saying hi to the Atlantic Ocean in Long Branch and found Scala's on Yelp. Their reviews were spot on. Something as simple as a slice of cheese pizza and we were in heaven! Perfect thin crust and mozzarella with just enough sauce. They had several other varieties ready for slices also, and all looked great. Damn do we miss NJ!!

Ordered half sausage and pepper and half pepperoni, got a half “pepper and onion” because it sounded similar to them and they refused to exchange. Done with Scalas!
Restuarant charges an illegally high credit card fee. Yes, it is so high it actually violates State law. When I pointed it out, I was told so what. So, I am now pointing it out to everyone and to the State of NJ. Tired of people using false pretenses to rip people off.Every business is entitled to make a buck, but an honest buck. Plenty of honest business owners around to spend my money at.

We placed a delivery order. The waitress did not add one of the items to our order. When we called to see why, she blamed me and said she didn't know I wanted it even though when we determined what it was and I said yes ok good. We had to wait another 45 minutes for it to be delivered and they charged us another $20 (one sandwich and another charge card and delivery fee) Really? That's customer service? NEVER AGAIN

I was a fairly regular customer and recectly ordered a fabulous specialnty pizza. Pepperoni, fresh ricotta and hot honey. So pleased, I reorderd again. The reorder did not resemble the previous and did not contain the hot honey which makes the dish. Upon calling, the clerk assured me the cook added the topping. I have recently heard he is new. I am done.
