Overall experience was good. Starters and main entrees good. Desserts below pare. However the service was very good and the ambiance lovely. We will come back for dinner when the weather warms and the Tiki Bar is open and there is music
We always enjoy the food and service. We have spent many New Year's Eve with you as well. Thank you, Dan & Ellen Dour
Maybe I'm picky, or my wife cooks too well, but this was the first time in a long time I haven't gone out to eat at a restaurant and thought “...we could have made this better.” And for Valentine's Day I kinda expected the service to suffer a bit, but the staff were great, everything came out well timed, and the food was phenomenal. Just an all around great experience, I would definitely go back.
Food was a disappointment the lobster tail was chewy, the calamari was not cooked enough and the Salem was dry we barely ate the food .The service was very slow they seemed very under staffed the people that worked there where very nice just seemed overwhelmed.
Every prior year, the hours were 12:00 until 7:00. This year they changed to 5;00 but I did not notice it. I tried to change my reservation to 2;00 pm from 3;00 but your system would not let me and there was no one I could contact. When people saw the 5;00 pm closing, they just did not show up.
Food and service was much better last year do not think we will be returning Under staff had to clean up own table and go to bar for our own drinks
Great food at the Thanksgiving buffet. Best turkey I've had in a long time, very moist and flavorful. Sides were great also. Appetizers were varied and top notch. Service was great. Atmosphere was great. Not one complaint or suggestion about anything.
There were special circumstances this year that required we "go out" for Thanksgiving. After our experience several years ago at a different place, I was trying to keep my expectations low. Well, boy was I in for an absolutely delightful surprise! Everyone (and I mean everyone!) could not have been more friendly, welcoming and kind. They were there to assist you and made sure you knew that. The food was incredible and we all enjoyed it thoroughly! I love to taste everything but I have a small "holding tank" - I was able to take tiny amounts of most items and even the serving station people were kind enough to give me a small amount of whatever I wanted. I am not normally much of a sweets person but the TWO TABLES of desserts was too good to pass up. Again, I was able to take tiny amounts of things OR share something with the people I was with. I love to bake and cook, but I would come here again in a heartbeat! It will be difficult to pass up, if we decide to next year. I have been to Ocean Place for many other events and their food and service NEVER disappoints - thank you, we had a great Thanksgiving because of you.
Made a reservation for 2 for 6 o'clock. We were the only diners in a huge restaurant. The waiter was attentive. The fish and chips were good as was my seafood linguini but the sauce was not light as billed. We asked for coffee afterwards but were told they had none. Also had to ask for the 20% off as a hotel guest.
Could not have been worse. We were here for a conference and had a group of 16. There were NO other people in the restaurant at 4:30pm. The young girl waiting tables was rude to many in our party. The food came out slowly, with two burgers coming 30 mins after the first orders were brought out. Even if you're staying here, eat elsewhere at one of the restaurants on the promenade.

This restaurant is located inside the Ocean Place Resort & Spa. This is a beautiful location, with big windows, right off Long Branch Beach. Never come for a holiday if you want to be extremely disappointed. My reservation was at 7:30 pm, food wasn't served until 9:50 pm. I ordered a chowder soup and chicken wings. The soup came cold and the wings looked like it was defrosted in the microwave with my veggies and blue cheese leaving me with warm blue cheese. The waiter Dario was amazing and apologetic about the lack of kitchen service and service overall. Other waiters said they ran out of clean dishes and cups serving people with plastic. I wouldn't be surprised if anyone gets food poisoning with how the food was handled and to make things worse you couldn't complain as there was no manager on site for the early part of the evening. I wouldn't recommend this place as you'd get sick and the staff there, besides our kind waiter is horrible and rude.

Unfortunately, this restaurant didn't make any improvements in food quality or service.
The restaurant was bad before pandemic and now even worse. It is always empty and there is a good reason for it. The chopped salad had 99% lettuce only. Grilled chicken was dry rubbery and cold. Most likely was prepared the day before. Burger was overdone and burnt. The server was very slow and had no experience. Manager was no where to be found. The place would have a great potential because it has good location and the view but owner has low standards on how to run the restaurant.
Listen to these reviews the food is godawful. Skip the Seaview Dinner Resteraunt at Ocean Place Resort. Seriously way subpar for the price. Dry rubbery overcooked chicken to the point of shoe leather, and burnt chicken in the casadilla. I have had better food in a school or hospital cafeteria. Withered salad. Tiny plate of calamari for the price. Terrible. Staff is nice enough. Virginia Pina Colada was terrible. at the bar and made us nauseated. So many other wonderful choices along the beach. Pass this one by.

Mother's Day brunch was a fail. Not only were we charged $70 per head for one of the worst brunches I've ever been to, but we saw our server maybe twice the entire time we were there. $70 a head for a brunch is steep as is, but I expected a lot better than we got. All the food was cold, half of the food trays were empty, and the toaster for the bagel/bread station didn't even work. Our bill was a whopping $700 for 2 rounds of drinks and food we barely ate. I would never come back here for anything. Really, very disappointed. OH and gratuity was added, an extra $160 for a server who barely paid any attention to us. Don't come here for Mother's Day. End of story.

We showed up for our reservation where the manager said they couldn't honor the reservation because they only had 1.5 waiters and the kitchen was overwhelmed with the demand. We left.
