Shore Caribbean Restaurant

This was my 1st time trying out this spot as another location I usually frequent closed down. I was so disappointed. The red snapper tasted like it had been cooked previously and they just added the brown sauce to smother it in. I also purchased curry chicken but the guy mistakenly gave us curry goat - very gamy and oxtails. Unfortunately the rice tasted like it was old as well. There was no love in any of this food. Not work the 100 bucks we dropped.

Oxtail was phenomenal.

Everything is always good. Fried fish is amazing.

The curry goat here is amazing he doesn’t always have it on the menu but when he does you can loose goat + tastebuds = 10

I dropped into this place without reading a single review or having any preconceptions. I was served the most delicious oxtail I’ve ever had and I cannot wait to try other things on the menu!

The Curry Chicken with rice, cabbage and plantains are good. Love it.

My daughter ordered food for delivery. Driver said that he called several times and no answer....instead of ringing the bell and leaving the food....he left....with the good. My daughter called him back seconds later and he told her to come get a refund tomorrow. She offered to come get the food since we live less then 6 mins away and he said no because the store was now closed. Mind you this all took place at about 20 mins to 10 and their website states that they close at 10 He totally took advantage of my daughter because there wasn't much she could do at the time. So now she's out 20 something dollars, still hungry and has to spend more money on something else to eat. They never got my business before and I certainly won't go there now

their store front is in a strip mall in a residential area, well off the beaten path. to start, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. we ordered j*** chicken and curry chicken diner plates, both were very tasty and the j*** was freshly prepared. flavors were spot on, personally I would have liked a little more heat on the j*** but still tasted right on. both were served with rice \u0026 peas and cabbage, both delicious. the j*** also included plantains. portions were large and generous. I ordered the large j*** chicken and will be able to get 2 meals out of it. we'll be back!

Was disappointed with the high prices and food quality. I expected more than 5 oxtails in a mostly rice filled dinner. I felt violated when I saw my food after paying $32. Never again. Biggest rip off in town
