We found Surf Taco after touring Monmouth and our son wanting to check out the surfing waves at Long Branch Beach. It was slow for a Friday afternoon, but the food was excellent. It was fresh and came out fast. The establishment was clean and the staff helpful. We had the Surf Nachos, Mavericks, Buffalo Solidier, Chicken Taco and Shrimp Taco. Higly recommend!

Not giving 5 stars because I only tried it once. I got some sort of bowl with chicken surf style and it was pretty good. If I go again, I'm not local to the place, I will have better understanding. For first time, to get a quick taco fix, this was good.

Not bad tacos. I was excited to try this spot after a day at the beach. It is only a mile or two inland from the water so an easy stop. We got a few things... I will start by saying my favorite was the queso. A slightly darker color than I am use to. Very enjoyable. I also got the a aloha taco which was not very good. I was disappointed because my chicken was dry and a little tough. The flavor was there I could tell it probably was good earlier that day lol. The queso was delicious and the crunch taco was also not impressive. I hate it was disappointing but 3 out of 5 because the portions were good and the service was okay, although my husband's food took a lot longer to come out than everyone else's...

i love surf taco. i was waiting for my food for 30+ minutes like wtf it was 3pm probably even later on a friday night 2 families were there one was outside and one was in on the high tops both already had there food. i go to order so pricy for something i can just make at home first of all but it's whatever. i wait 20 minutes and i go up and ask where my food is the guy goes to check and says it's right there it will be out soon i say ok. another 10 minutes later the guy comes and finally gives me my quesadilla and just lovely it comes out burnt. i didn't know it was that hard to make a fucking quesadilla my 6 yr old cousins know how. like cmon bad service bad everything only good thing was the chips can't go wrong with them.

Love the food here, but I came on a lunch break from work and had to wait 50 minutes for my one burrito. The weather was 80 degrees so it was very busy and only one cook was working and one cashier was working. I get finding staff is tough, but in no world does having two workers for a restaurant on the shore ever work. Especially during lunch time. I hope this can be fixed soon.
