I pre-ordered take out for a group and somehow accidentally selected pick up when I needed delivery. I called first thing in the morning and the owners were more then happy to accommodate even though it was short notice and an error on my end. The owner came with my food himself, everything we got was delicious and hot! We had the lemon chicken & falafel spread with hummus, pita and extra sides. Will definitely be ordering from here again!

I know Scott who works at this location, A friend of mine. I think I had told him at one point that I would never have walked into Hummus Republic just because the outside is very plain looking, not so inviting, especially for a busy summer oceanfront boardwalk store surrounded by decorated and fun looking stores and eateries, it leaves nothing to be desired from the outside. That same friend brought me a bowl one day and I could not stop going back for more!!! I told him I was so surprised how good it was and then I’m glad he introduced me. I think about these bowls every day 🤣 The rest of the crew that works at that location are also so polite and friendly! They really have great customer service.
This was Scott’s recommended order that I currently can’t stop eating:
Bowl, rice , 3 tzatziki , half chicken Shawarma & half lemon chicken, then whatever you like from salad bar (which I usually opt of the greens), fire the sauce and get Roasted red pepper tahini + lemon and olive oil
Thanks me later! I wish they’d make the place look more fun. The ingredients (which I wasn’t all too familiar with given I don’t eat much Mediterranean food) were so fresh and flavorful and it’s seriously My new favorite spot especially now that it’s getting warmer out!

I love coming here! The food is so delicious, the staff friendly, and did I mention the food is delicious?! As a vegan, I love that I can come here and get simply luscious food to take to the beach (or get a meal before or after a boardwalk stroll off-season). I've been coming here for years, and it still always feels like a treat. Thank you for existing, Hummus Republic!
