Holy lobster! Already planning our return trip. Keep it simple and do it right. Lobster bisque is the best I’ve ever had and I’ve tried a lot. Exceptionally fresh. I had the Cali. Bacon makes everything better. The Connecticut was authentic and pure. So much better than cracking open a lobster and picking at it. Stop what you’re doing and find this place. Try it for yourself. Simply my favorite place to go now on the shore.

Perfect stop on the way home from the shore. Had the clam chowder and CT rolls. Delicious. Reeks of summertime. Bar opens at 3, but you can buy beer and wine at roll checkout. Loved it

The Pit has an outside eating area with bar and live music. Atmosphere on weekend we went was lively and upbeat. Service was friendly and quick. Lobster roll was generous. Lobster bisque was delicious but could have had more lobster chunks in it. Overall a great choice.

I saw someone recommended this place on Instagram so decided to check it out. The Connecticut Lobster Roll was SOOOO good and the margarita was great - strong just how I like it! Friendly service and good atmosphere, the live music was lovely. Will definitely be back!

Stopped by the Pit for the first time today for a quick lunch. What a little gem! Great food, service and atmosphere all with reasonable prices. Looking forward to coming back for dinner on a nice night to sit outside and listen to music with cocktails and dinner. Dog friendly too 🐶

Great lobster roll! Right up there with Point Lobster ( my favorite)and Atlantic Offshore Fishery (my second favorite) as the best rolls at the Shore. Added bacon to my roll because you can at this cool, casual establishment. Washed it down with a frozen margarita which did not skimp on the alcohol. Added a side of their onion dip just for kicks. Loved everything and will definitely be back.

One of the best lobster rolls I had in a long time. I had the New England roll, not too much mayo and plenty of lobster. Reasonably priced. It includes a bag of chips and a small cole slaw. I will be back.

We stumbled on this place and I am so glad we did. It’s the perfect after-beach late afternoon happy hour place. The lobster roll was top notch and the Cowboy Prime Rib was fantastic. I’ll definitely come back for the perfect casual summer vibes.
