Unfortunately, the experience at the bar fell way short of the rest of the restaurant’s standards. The bartender (older white woman, working the Sunday lunch shift) seemed completely disengaged – no interest in recommendations or craft, and the $15 “custom” cocktails felt like an afterthought. Cheap ingredients and absolutely no effort in presentation or taste. For a place with such high-quality food, it was disappointing to watch someone lazily throw together drinks that tasted like they came from a bargain bin mixer.

If the bar matched the effort coming out of the kitchen, this place would be an easy five stars. Until then, come for dinner – just skip the cocktails.“

“Bruno’s easily has the best pizza and pasta in the Hackettstown area. The staff are always welcoming you with a warm smile and are friendly. The Pizza is a sensational experience in your mouth. The pasta is cooked at a perfect level. The atmosphere could be a little bit more Italian but it’s still a 4/5 stars. Without a doubt I will be coming back multiple times.“

The atmosphere is cozy, and busy but didn't feel overcrowded, indoor and outdoor seating available, the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The owner was present greeting patrons and ensuring all needs were cared for. The food!!!! Oh my, the food was absolutely delicious! The menu had a selection for everyone. We did not feel rushed in the slightest, which seems to be a common problem, especially for a couple ladies trying to catch up. Highly recommend.“

From the outside it's not much to look at but from the inside, it truly feels like the best of fine dining - with Thai food! Is it truly authentic Thai food? It's as close as I believe I will ever get in Northern New Jersey and that's something to consider. I am sure if I asked for the real thing, they can easily deliver! Food was delivered to the table very quickly during a late Saturday afternoon lunch and they still had nearly half the tables filled. I can only imagine dinner time! “Luna Rossa is an exceptional restaurant which is run by a loyal and dedicated team under the direction of Adrian. Our first time visiting this establishment was with a party of 10. Adrian took all of our orders including appetizers without writing anything down. The food was delivered to perfection. I am astounded by the diversity of the menu, the ability to switch out sides, the quality and taste of the food. The chefs are talented and cook to delight every palate. “Carmine's is our go to place whenever we crave Italian or a cheesesteak. Husband and I were there yesterday for late lunch. Excellent pasta fagioli soup, huge slices of pizza, and overstuffed, cheesesteak. Great service and reasonable prices. We were informed there is an extra charge if you're not paying cash. This is becoming a common practice and we were informed of it. Server was excellent and made us feel welcome. I was asked if I knew of any pizza parlors served gluten free and of course I recommended Carmine's.“

We were nervous about how the food would be but my husband and I were shocked by how delicious it was and the guests kept complimenting it was as well. The restaurant is family run and the owners did everything to make sure it was a hit. From initial emails, phone calls, questions, and menu selection they went above and beyond. I can’t stress enough how each bite of food we had was better than the last. They out did themselves on taste, presentation, professionalism, and courtesy.
