Love this local spot in town. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the owner never misses a chance to say hello. Our go‑to specialty sandwich is the Southern Belle — the chicken cutlet is the best around, and the mootz is hands down the BEST.

The pizza is just as amazing… seriously, don’t sleep on it.

Updating my review:

I’m changing this to 5 stars because the owner has always been kind and respectful. I used to live in Lyndhurst and have ordered takeout from Vinnie’s Mootz many times over the years. Even though I’ve occasionally had a soggy sandwich, the owner has always been pleasant, which is why I wanted to update my review.

My issue was never with him or the business—it was with the young woman...

This place makes the absolute BEST Chicken and waffles I've ever had!! Never got a bad sandwich here, the pizza is amazing, and they are a great bunch of guys. I am having a great time tryying to sample all his stuff--I love that he switched to all natural ingredients and took the seed oils out of even his salad dressings. Of course his homemade mootz is out of this world. Vinnie is very accommodating, and the place is super cute!!! Give it a try, you won't be sorry...
