This was very disappointing to say the least. On behalf of my mom, I am writing this so others can be aware of how disappointing her experience was. When we first got there, it was very loud and we asked to sit in the other room, which was not as loud, however there was no atmosphere. The service was slow and when our beverages finally came, the coffee and latte were terrible. The design on the latte had faded out as soon as we got it. When the food finally arrived, the chicken panini was very bland. The eggs were okay, but it was not worth the price we paid. My mom ordered sweet potato fries with her eggs and when it came out, it was regular fries. When mentioned to the waitress, she was told they were all out and had to opt for the salad. For four people having brunch, it was overpriced for the quality, atmosphere and service.

Enjoyed lunch, coffees and a flight of butter & jam. We felt the quality of the food and drinks were excellent. Parking easy in parking lot. Decor during Christmas week was festive. Server was perfect. What a clever concept to have different butter flavors. Go visit and experience it!

It’d say I’m finding it a bit tricky to rate this restaurant because I really, really wanted to like it!
I was so excited to see that they had matcha lattes on the menu and was so disappointed that it wasn’t good at all; same deal with the coffee. The lemonade on the other hand was delightful.
The food we thought was good but we found it unfortunate that none of the meals came with sides? I also ordered the California breakfast wrap without the tomato and it somehow came both without tomato and bacon 😅 I suppose I find $14 dollars a lot for a small wrap with only eggs, cheese and avocado. Perhaps if the plates had been smaller it wouldn’t have made me feel like something was missing.
Overall, I’d probably give it a second chance and see if it blows me away the next time? Maybe it was just an off day — 3.5/5 from me!

12/27/2024: The restaurant and food were mediocre at best. My wife spilled her entire cup of coffee on the table and asked for assistance from the waitress because of the spill. The waitress came back after 5 minutes and handed her 4 paper napkins and simply asked “are you ready for your food order?” There was no assistance given at all. The soaked paper and cloth napkins remained on the table the entire meal and no one helped. Even if the excuse given is “it’s the holiday season and we are short staffed” is no excuse for the lack of attention and improper customer care. This will be the last time we eat here and we will be sure to tell others to stay away. What a shame.
12-27-24 Follow up: My wife received a call from the manager this afternoon. He was very responsive and concerned about her experience this morning. The manager was receptive to her feedback and wanted to right the wrong. His actions were a true representation of what good customer service should look like. With that being said, we will be back and will remind others to speak up when service is below par.

We were in the area abs decided to give a try. The restaurant side had an event so the wait time was long. Both sides are small, but very busy. The butter and jam board was the highlight. The different butters were so delicious. The berry jam was good as well.
My garden omelette was well made and delicious. My son enjoyed his hot chocolate with all the trimmings. Plus his French toast.
I would return, but with reservations of possible.
Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and dairy free! I never worry about having enough options. I always appreciate their efforts to be conscious of dietary restrictions.

My mom and I were in Morristown, looking for a good breakfast place. I knew Butter and Jam must be a hit when we arrived and the restaurant was full even though the parking lot was being resurface and there were no cars. People parked at a distance and walked to get there. Either loyal customers or great food. Either way it was a good sign. The food, service and casual yet classy atmosphere proved my hunch true. Super yummy.

I have been here for lunch now three times and ordered takeout twice. Everything I have ordered here has been outstanding; the crumb cake is rich and decadent, and the various cold brews will bring me back here again and again. Rachel has been my waitress every time and she is both friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this jewel in Madison!
