Fantastic dinner at Il Goccino! The staff is welcoming and remembered us by name. The clams as a starter and shrimp francese were memorable and the eggplant parmesan was super. Don’t miss the toasted almond cake and tiramisu. Thank you Chef Matt, Al, Arbor and Laridonna for a wonderful evening.
As a foodie, I try to be fair when writing a review. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. We were seated promptly, but had to ask for a waiter after waiting many minutes. Let me get to the food. The long hots with broccoli rabe and sausage were very good and would have it again. My wife and I both had veal prepared two different ways. Mine was with a champagne sauce, sounds good right? Well not so much. The veal was pounded, so thin...
A delightful dining experience at this BYOB. Probably the friendliest service we’ve encountered. Next door to a wine shop if you forget. Stuffed mushrooms were excellent, earthy with a very nice sauce. Specials of seafood w linguine (clams and crab) and a Parmesan chicken (chicken martini) were excellent. The homemade tiramisu was delicious and fluffy, to melt on the tongue. Excellent dinner. Service was perfectly paced.
