My main dish was very disappointing. A seafood pasta dish that was blah. The restaurant decor was very dated. The dinner was overpriced and very disappointing. The tiramisu was good though.
Food, service and atmosphere all excellent. Our waiter gave us excellent food and wine recommendations. We will be coming back soon.
We had a nice anniversary dinner, food and service were great and loved the design of rhe restaurant inside, would recommend for a nice night or group dinner.
As usual, great service and great food! Very accommodating chef for minor changes to suit your taste. We've been coming here for over 10 years and wouldn't unless we really love this place. My husband won't eat Bolognese anywhere else.
Took my very senior and very judgemental mom to L'allegria this past weekend because we didn't want to go to the same restaurants we always go to when we visit, and it was fantastic. From the atmosphere to the incredible service by everyone to the fantastic food, this was a winner. The best thing about it was that my mom was raving about the food during and well after our meal. She makes Gordon Ramsey look like a timid kitten if she doesn't like something, and she is still talking about how wonderful everything was, telling her friends how they shouldn't wait. You can't do any better than that. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend enjoying yourself at L'agllegria.
I have been discouraged with the New Jersey restaurants lately. L'Allegria was always a favorite of my husbands so we went there on a rainy Monday night and I had the best meal I have had in months. The Chefs chicken dish was delicious!!
Can't say enough about this place. Food and ambience excels. Service is quietly efficient. Staff makes you feel special. Always delivers a great dining experience.
Great Italian restaurant- fabulous cuisine, excellent service & great ambiance. My go to restaurant for Italian cuisine .
We have been coming here for years. The quality of food and the service level continues to be at the highest levels. The tomato sauce is made from scratch with fresh tomatoes not canned.
Food is excellent but extremely pricey. Service is fine, a bit slow at times. But extremely friendly.

Service was a little odd. We ordered apps, entrees, and desserts. Everything was pretty good though the chocolate mousse cake was a little dry. All this was fine, but they told us they were closing and asked us to leave right after 9 pm a Friday night?
Awesome food

I had a wonderful experience at l'Allegria! The Italian dishes were freshly prepared and incredibly tasty - you can taste the high quality of the ingredients. I was particularly impressed by the attentive and friendly staff, who looked after us courteously throughout our visit. The atmosphere was pleasant and went perfectly with the food. If you love Italian food, you should definitely try this restaurant!

We held a surprise party here over the weekend. What a marvelous experience. The room was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service was top notch. Working with Sal and his team was easy and joyful. Thank you, thank you.

Food was very good. I tried wild boar. Very tasty. Place was listed as a romantic spot. Screaming kids nearby made it anything but romantic. Waiter pushed expensive Pinot noir on us when my wife asked for the house version. Was not worth the $7 difference in price per glass. Our waiter disappeared after we finished our dinner. He waited quite a while to find him to order dessert & coffee; which he brought together. I would not go back.
