We had some delicious appetizers like the cauliflower and the salami and cheese board, and our dinners were good. I had the steak frites. Done the way I like it. My husband had the chicken milenase which was a special, friend and her husband had the eggplant pizza and papperdalle pasta. Cocktails were good and the wine we had. Nice place.

The food and service were excellent but the noise level was a total drag. Couldn't hear my dining partner who right across the table from me which kind of made dinner a bit torturous.

I liked the food. Cauliflower appetizer and Pizzas were good. The selection of wines by the glass and beer was good. Very loud along with a couple of crashes of dishes or something.

The fried cauliflower is great. It's lightly fried and the sauce balances out the dish. We also tried the calamari dish which was one of the specials and was delightfully good. Their pizza is consistently delicious. Crust is crispy and holds up to the toppings. Would highly recommend this place.

Pretty spot. Next time I would grab a seat at the bar to watch a game and order the pizza- hands down the best part of our meal. Server was nice but failed to tell us there were specials on the opposite side of the dessert menu on the table. Food was good but not great. Roasted chicken with veges and mashed potatoes was lukewarm and a bit greasy. Clearly just sitting around and attempted to re-heat. Again, I would give it another try but not for a main dinner

Excellent wine selection, nice appetizers. On a Friday night, you'll run into all of your neighbors from Madison.

Despite the noisier bar area they were able to sit us in a quieter area where we could talk and hear each other. The server could not have been better! Very attentive, helpful and cheerful. The food was cooked perfectly: salmon, asparagus and roasted potatoes. Definitely going back!

While a quieter night, the owner greeted us and was a great host. Tried some new menu items - the spicy mussels and the mushroom risotto were wonderful. Decent selection of wine and reasonably priced. Will be a date spot for my wife and I going forward.

Madison Wine and Tap consistently delivers delicious pizza that keeps us coming back for more. The crust is perfect—crispy and crunchy, just the way we love it. The ingredients are always super fresh, making each bite a delightful experience.

However, the overall service leaves much to be desired. The takeout process is particularly frustrating; our food is never ready on time, and when we finally get it, it's often cold. Dining in isn't much better, as the food is often slow to arrive.

It's important to note that these issues are not the fault of the servers, who are always friendly and attentive. This is clearly a process problem that needs to be addressed by management. We truly hope they can resolve these service issues, especially with their new steakhouse opening soon. The quality of their food deserves a better dining experience.

Always a fun place to meet friends for drinks and have some small plates or dinner. The salads and pizzas are enough for 2-3 people to share and always delicious. Every time I go I try to get different things and so far everything has been delicious. I have not had a mixed drink there but the wine selection is nice and the staff is helpful making recommendations.

A recent management change to the Happy Hour's guidelines is disconcerting. We enjoyed going to the restaurant during Happy Hour and ordering from a Happy Hour menu to start while sitting at a table with friends, instead of at the bar. Management recently made a change where Happy Hour menu is only available if sitting at the bar, which impacts our ability to enjoy the restaurant during Happy Hour. This is unfortunate as it will actually result in less dining visits to the restaurant for us and our circle of friends. Please reconsider this policy change!
