Hunan chicken came with 90% vegetables/sauce and 10% chicken. They must be trying to save pennies this way because the veggies weren’t even tasty with the overwhelming thickness of the sauce. Well I need protein. Everyone needs protein. I guess the Chinese people in this shop only care about monetary gains, not physical gains.
I have been ordering here for 3 years and have had excellent food, as well as decent service. But today i ordered fried dumplings and as a I was eating I pulled out a long black hair that I was choking on from my mouth. I am truly disappointed and sickened.

I’ve been ordering Chinese takeout back to living in Brooklyn for 20+ years. In almost all Chinese restaurant reviews, people always complain about delivery and how many shrimp they got. Just order pick up and don’t go to pricy places if u want to avoid being disappointed. I’ve bought from Madison Wok for 15 years now and never had a late order when ordering pick up here (usually 15 mins). The food tastes exactly as my local restaurant when I was a kid, so I can’t complain. For the price, consider how little you are paying for the amount of work and manpower going into it •• esp since it’s done so fast. Dao nearby has slightly less oil and flavor for a lot more money. I wanted to like it but just poor value since your deliver or pick up order price needs to support the wait staff. No American style Chinese food is healthy for you so stop thinking you’re doing something good by paying someone extra to do less oil, msg, etc. in summary, this is an old school place that gives you the standards for the least amount of money you’ll pay in this zip code. Not something to eat everyday, but when you need your fix for this kind of stuff. I recommend the pork dumplings, fried wings, curry chicken, wonton soup and any fried rice, plus the chow fun and generals chicken. My 3 kids never complain and no one has ever been sick. Sometimes I’m not crazy about the amount of meat but remember that I’m not paying $15 or $20 for a pint here, and the low prices are supporting a skeleton crew.

Madison Wok is the best Chinese food in the area for the price, hands down. I've ordered delivery from them multiple times and have been blown by away by how well-prepared and delicious their food is. If you're looking to order take out, definitely give this place a try!

I came here with my friends after school and it’s a nice location with friendly atmosphere the owners are very kind. The food there are very good better than the other places I’ve been to at least and pricing are pretty fair for how much they give quantity and the quality of the food.
