Waitress was wonderful, very friendly staff and nice little place, clean and homie—that’s for sure—problem is I love my Taylor Ham egg and cheese. It was ok, but it was unbelievably skimpy as there were only 2 slices of Taylor Ham, 2 cheese slices, and an egg for $10. Then it’s on this giant fluffy roll—huge in comparison to what’s on it. Should’ve been $5-$7 MAX. I’d hate to think that they did this because of “shrinkflation”. If they added another slice or two of TH, possibly even another egg—it wouldn’t make a huge difference in terms of profit. At other places, they put at least 4 slices with 2 eggs for $10, which is the standard for a Jersey diner THEC…Now that I’m typing this out, I sound spoiled, but idk. Point is…other places on THECs for the same price, you get much more than you do here. Have to emphasize the good service tho!

I went to this diner today. It was busy, they sat me at a table, and it seemed like I was invisible. More than 10 minutes went by, and not one person asked me what they could get for me. Other customers came in after me and were helped. I got up and left. Maybe they don't need my business, but I'm never stepping foot in that place again.

I ordered the spinach and feta omelette, which was decent, with home fries and rye bread. The home fries were good but would have been nice spiced or with a bit of onion and bell pepper. My husband ordered the vegetable sandwich. Which looked good but was s bit bland. Our son had the children's meal mac and cheese, which honestly left a lot to be desired. It looked like it was straight from a box of Kraft mac and cheese, and there was a piece of wood or something like that on top of it when it was served to us. It came with a drink and ice cream l, which were the saving grace here. It would be nice for a children's meal to come with a vegetable too though.
The wait staff was nice but I think they can up their game a bit with the food and service overall. Prices are high enough to expect.a bit more.
