You will love this place!! The food is amazing...started with the mac and cheese balls and prime rib jalapenos omg....delicious. I had the ranchero burger which was cooked to a perfect medium rare...soooo good...my wife said the Salmon was amazing. Abby was our server and she was fantastic!!! Love this place!!!

I was here on 11/22/24 around 6:30 pm. I did not try any of the food. This is an atmosphere review of the place. I came here for my first time with an attractive lady friend and when we first walked in, almost all of the male customers (creeps) around the bar were very obviously creep staring at my lady friend to the point where she was very uncomfortable and didn’t want to be there. I tried to make the best of it to find 2 seats for us around the bar and everyone was still just creepily staring at her. It was beyond awkward. I found some empty seats by the bar taps and no one was polite enough to move even an inch for me to pass through to get to the empty seats. The place was not packed, it had a normal amount of people inside. I was finally sitting down when this extremely rude disheveled old man (maybe very drunk) pushed over me to read the bar taps and I just stood up and looked at him and he then went back to another seat. Everyone at this point is still staring in the most creepy and awkward way that we just walked out. I spent $140.00 at another place down the road called Grato. I did not expect dive bar behavior and atmosphere at a nice place like this.
My Mom and I enjoyed our first visit to the Prospect Tavern. What a fantastic family-owned business! The owner, her sons, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. And the food was AMAZING!!! We enjoyed the potato skins and a cocktail to start. We had the most DELICIOUS pot roast and prime rib for our entrees! Our shared dessert was a warm brownie and ice cream. It was oh so good! Our compliments to the family owners and the chef. Bravo! We cannot wait to retrun to this relaxed, cozy, friendly Tavern.

I really appreciate for the understanding of on how many guests I had for my reservation and was willing to do separate checks for all of us for my friends and I because of our disabilities making an exception for us.
