I'm always met with really great service every time I come here for lunch, so much so that it's worth a review! Sandwiches are delicious as well, particularly the diabolos.

I showed up to order a sandwich and they told me I’d have to wait 30 minutes because they have a catering larger order. Terrible service. Service your customers who are right there in your store.

Heard good things about this place but was very disappointed. I ordered a turkey sandwich and a spicy Italian. I got two spicy Italians. I was the only person in the store from the second I walked and even when I walked out, and it was wrong. I’d love to know what they believe to be “capicola” cause I saw a lot of “ham” which was most definitely not capicola. The only reason I give the food two stars is the bread.

Great sandwiches and service. I prefer a nice crunchy bread instead of soft bread and this is the only deli in the area that has this fresh bread which is made through out the day.

I drive from Wyckoff to Mahwah once a week specifically for their sandwiches.

The store has hosted a few of my work meetings. The platters are customizable and the team is easy to work with.

I highly recommend!

Went today for the first time.
Ordered a turkey and sharp provolone, it was great and plentiful. Great service from the young guy making the sandwich.
Will definitely return.

3/25.. Another great sandwich today.
Met Joe the owner, very friendly.
You gotta try this great sandwich shop. The bread is amazing. Thank you Joe and staff for a great sandwich and chips.

The best Hero/Hoagie place in the Ramapo Gap. A genuine Philadelphia experience. Order carefully, for “the works” doesn’t include mustard/mayonnaise or oil/vinegar. You have to ask for it. Sparse tables and cold in the winter, TV always on. Zero ambience. But the best lunch available within 20 miles.

I went on 1/23/25 around 4:30-5ish pm at the Mahwah Location. The person who took my order was fantastic but the person who put my sandwich together is a master at making Sandwiches. Perfect amount for every layer, perfect amount of balsamic vinegar. Everything about the Sandwich was perfect. I WILL be coming here often. I wish I got the employees' name who made my Sandwich because it was phenomenal. I hope he reads this and I hope to know your name because you made my night sir.

These guys know what they’re doing. Hoagies are so good I keep going back to try more.

It’s a shame what happened to this place. I used to go here all the time when they first had the original owners when they opened and the sandwiches were delicious, worth the price and were packed full. Now you pay $10 for what is essentially mostly bread. Which is unacceptable. No matter how many times they’re “under new management” the Sandwhiches just aren’t the same anymore. If you like to overpay for mediocre bread with a hint of meat and cheese, this is the place for you! Otherwise, do yourself a favor and get your moneys worth at a real deli…

OVERPRICED. A turkey sandwich with a 4 dollar potato salad is $18.00. The same turkey sandwich at Janek's deli is $8.00. I'm guessing the rent is extremely high in the center.
