“Great assortment of fresh raw fish- mackerel, white n red tuna, yellowtail, in sashimi sushi platter. Friend had pine box- chicken teriyaki, spring roll n sushi- comes with soup n salad. Food was served quickly and food was delicious.
Crowded on weekend night- does tremendous take out business. Bring your own. Staff is friendly and eager to please.”

“I’ve lived in Mahwah 7 years and stopped in first time yesterday (only bc I’m really not an ice cream fan!) and was so impressed! Delish! Reminds me of the beach and the old Dairy Queen’s with much better ice cream! Staff is super friendly too which is always a plus!”

“Stopped in here on a whim.... the owner was lovely. I needed nothing, but got an almond croissant, a chocolate croissant, and a French baguette. everything was off the charts delicious. wonderful experience. I recommend calling ahead.”

“Tried Half Baked for the first time last weekend. Friendly staff and AMAZING cookies! Much better and BIGGER than “you know who”. My Daughter absolutely loved every one we tried. We bought a four pack and were sad we didn’t try the guava one. We will be back next weekend looking forward to the new selection!”

“I have been going to Esposito’s for 20+ years. Their vodka sauce is some of the best I’ve ever had - on pasta, chicken, or pizza dish. Their grandma pies (regular and w/ vodka sauce) are top tier. The owner Angelo is always so welcoming and I feel like family walking in there. A lot of the staff have been there for many years too, who are all super friendly as well. A great local spot in our community.”

“It's a great local spot run by Barb. Barb is the best and she makes you feel very welcome. It is super casual and she's willing to make you anything you want with the ingredients she has. She has a lot of regular customers and frequently names menu items after them. She's open early in the morning with hot coffee and breakfast items and on hot days she has ice cream and frozen treats and stuff like that as well. She makes delicious hot dogs with chili and hamburgers as well. I will definitely go back at some point soon to try the other menu items. When I go back it will be only partly for the food, but mostly just to hang out with Barb.”

“So they forgot a pint of coleslaw.. took my money and didn’t give it right back bc I used their 3rd party online. I had 5 items, how did you forget 1? Then tell me how I have to wait 2-3 days for my refund??? You could have easily rectified it by remaking my now cold burger and giving me my dang slaw. Your smirky face really didn’t help the situation. Longtime customer..”

Huge shoutout to the 2 gentleman working through a rush today (11/17/25) at 230. They were ever friendly and made sure everyone was getting what they ordered. They definitely deserve a raise if permitted as these 2 are always happy and have a smile on their face when I come in, they know my order by heart and always reccomwnd new things to me, which got me hooked on the refreshers’

“State Line Diner is already, by far, my favorite diner in the area. The food is consistently delicious, the prices are fair, and every server is sweeter than the next. I didn’t think they could get any better—until they found my wallet and kept it safe for me until I called more than 24 HOURS LATER. I’ve been battling a nasty cold and completely out of it! They were truly my saving grace. I would be remiss not to take this opportunity to share my well-deserved praise and let them know how grateful I am.
