Awesome pizza 9.4!! Must try
Went back again this weekend with the Mrs for date night just to be sure :)
Again, excellent thin brick oven style. Of course, ordered another pie to go for the kids!!

Food and service was good not 5 star. However to be charged $17.00 per glass for J. Lohr cabernet which cost $12.00 per bottle is a complete rip off and we will never go back. Too greedy.

I used to pick up a certain chicken and pasta dish from this restaurant many years ago and it was very good. Hadn’t been here in at least 10 years and occasionally someone will bring it up and how expensive it has become. I was in the mood for a salad and pizza and came here after checking the menu online. $22.50 for a small (12 inch they say) pizza and $3 per topping for vegetables or $4 per topping for meat. I knew I would spend $50 on this small personal pie and a $17 Caesar salad. At these prices I expected close to a high end restaurant (not fine dining) and unbelievable food. The Caesar salad was simply (not joking) romaine lettuce, store bought large pieces of shredded parmesan, and store bought Ken’s Caesar dressing. How you can charge $17 for a romaine lettuce and Ken’s Caesar dressing salad is bordering the line of delusion. It’s baffling that diners would eat that and be content. No freshly shaved parmesan, no ground pepper, and Ken’s Caesar dressing. For $18 you can get a Caesar at Flemings in Montvale (try that then try one at Roxanne’s) for $15 you can get a mind blowing Caesar at Roots Steakhouse in Ridgewood. But $17 gets you store bought romaine that tasted strange and poor, and Ken’s dressing from ShopRite. After a few bites I put the salad to the side as I had no interest in eating it and the extremely nice bartender (Mio) asked how it was and I replied I don’t like it but I’m going to pay for it. She insisted she will take it off and I said thanks. The pizza came and it was pretty good (definitely not great). $3 for 1/4 of a raw jalapeño on a personal pizza is just crazy. The pizza was thin crust and very thin in general, without even raised crust. It was more like a snack. The soda had not one bubble in it and was the flattest soda I had in a longggg time. It is truly baffling the amount of people in Mahwah that must come to eat at this extremely average (at best) and way overpriced restaurant. It was empty on the Monday I arrived but imagine they do fill up sometimes. If you still decide to go make sure to order a Caesar to have a good laugh (I wouldn’t be so critical if the owner hadn’t replied with inappropriate replies to reviews) and let us know how you like it. Still a shout out to the bartender Mio who provides excellent customer service as she’s truly an asset to the restaurant.

Food is very mediocre for such a high price for no reason.

Haven't been here in awhile. Decided to take my mom for birthday dinner with 6 people. Food was great, large portions. A pinch pricey. Service was good. So overall a 4 . My bill was over 400 dollars. My one complaint. A charge for refills? You make enough across the board with food and bar. Petty not to refill a soda or ice tea when it costs maybe 75cents total, syrup, co2 and water. Raise the price to 3 dollars and refill the easiest item to absorb.

The portions were great. With one meal you’re able to get three depending on how much you eat. It was extremely busy on a Tuesday evening, so that gives you an idea how good the places for the locals.
Very good restaurant , they have raw vegetables 😃 I made the waiter laugh 🤭 I’m so funny 😆.
