I don’t know why this place isn’t crowded. I had a drink and snack at the bar (zucchini blossoms). The service is excellent. I haven’t eaten much here. Just apps. But all I’ve had was good. True it’s very pricy. But there are other places in the area with awesome reviews that are not as good. The bar is fantastic.
My fiancé and I were in the area for a night and wanted to have a nice dinner. We’re so glad we found RP Prime. Our waiter Remi was everything a classic waiter should be. He was attentive and competent without being overbearing. The Veal Chop and Short Ribs were decadent. The in season Stone Crab Claws are arguably the best delicacy on the planet. First off the prices are beyond delusional. Had the crab cakes $22, Surf and Turf $87, and side pasta $16 (?). The crab cakes were excellent. Worth $22, sure. The surf and turf was an 8 oz. filet (felt smaller) and a 6 oz. lobster tail. $87 for 14oz. of food is just pure insanity. Lobster had very little taste. The steak was good.
