Food - WOW! So much flavor. We had the chicken Tikka masala, shrimp curry, veg samosas and peshwari naan. Everything was so fresh and full of flavor! We talked about making the 2 hr drive back in the future. Ambiance/atmosphere is ok. It's quaint and small, which I kinda like. It's clean even a peek at the kitchen floor you can see that. ?????

We were visiting and decided to stop by at Tandoori Bites. Hands down AMAZING Indian food !!! Customer service was top notch as we were greeted within 15 seconds and really amazing vegetarian options as well. Would love to come back !!!

I came here to eat but it has kind of a glum atmosphere so just got takeout. Food was excellent. Goat curry and naan both authentic and well-prepared. Recommended for takeout.

I’ve been ordering from Tandoori Bites in Mahwah for months now and the food has been consistently tasty and fresh! The egg bhurji, chole bhatura, delhi wala butter chicken, mango lassi, lemon rice and garlic naan are my favorites! So happy I found this place!

Ohhhhhmyyyyyy!!! So so delicious! My dear friend and I were in the area for a photoshoot and saw this restaurant close by and we were blown away! We had the vegetable samosa and butter chicken… wow wow wow… drooling over every bite! Rice was so fluffy, chicken so tender and the sauce… creamy delicious buttery goodness — and the garlic naan…. Amazing! And the service was equally amazing! — it was so good I had to go into the kitchen and applaud the chefs and staff!
Atmosphere is quant and sweet, fun Indian hip hop playing, service smooth and food impeccable!
Highly recommend! We plan on going back even though we live an hour away.

Amazing south asian food. We stopped there on our way from NY to MD. We were pleasantly surprised after tasting their food. They have chefs from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Great food and a must try place.

I ordered the paneer biryani, dosa, chicken tikka masala, and a ras malai cup for dessert. I had high hopes, but the paneer biryani and chicken tikka masala fell flat—both lacking the spice and bold flavors you'd expect. The dosa was decent, but nothing to rave about. However, the meal ended on a high note with the ras malai cup, which was absolutely delicious!
Nice small place with big flavors. Vegans welcome. This will be on my list for the future as I continue to look. Great meal.

I do not usually give reviews, but have to make it an exception this time as Tandoori Bites went beyond our expectations both in the quality of the food, and the service they provided. If i could give them 10 stars I would! This is rather going to be a long review...but worth the mention. We had catered party order, and the manager/owner Meher was extremely helpful with choosing ,and also suggesting food items, and some of the items were their specialty/family recipes such as their punjabi kadhi, chicken seek kebabs! Everything was set for that evening , when I got a call from Meher saying that the delivery car that was on its way met with an accident, and her father who was in the car sustained some injuries. The car was totaled ( saw the pictures) and the food trays got messed up. My guests had started arriving, I didn't know what to do. Meher stayed calm ( despite being sick herself, and unable to attend to her father) and offered to get the entire menu prepared again by their chef, if I could wait for an hour. Not only did they deliver the food, all prepared again within an hour as promised, we were shocked to see the delivery person being accompanied by the injured father delivering the food personally- beyond what anyone could expect, we were speechless! This shows the work ethics, keeping up to the word, and customer's trust . The quality of the food was exceptional. The chicken seekh kebabs, achari fish, bhuna goat, punjabi kadhi, methi matar malai, were delicious! Punjabi kadhi pakodi was so so yummy, that it reminded one of our guests of their own family recipe! I truly commend the entire staff, including the owner, for their exceptional service, and the carefully crafted food , despite the challenging situation they were placed in! Best wishes to the entire team of Tandoori Bites!!
