We absolutely love this place!! The food is 5 stars delicious. The owners/waiters are very polite and do the best they can on a busy Friday night. I really enjoy the music and mood lighting and find the table and chairs to be comfortable. Sometimes the food/lassi does not come all at once but we usually share so we don’t mind. Highly recommend if you like indian food

Revisited the restaurant and this time tried new items. Loved the chole bhature - I guess my new go to place for chole bhature now. The chole was quite homely in taste and bhature were so fluffy and light! The poori which comes along with Chana is pretty nice. They are soft and puffy, even after it got cold at the end the pooris were soft, not at all chewy. Tandoori gobhi paratha had the perfect tandoori flavor! The stuffing just lacked a bit of salt. They pair it with yogurt and pickle which again have such a homely flavor. Assorted pakoras were super crunchy. I just hope they keep up with the same taste and quality of food.

Solid food that I actually enjoy. But... service is ehhhh (perfect for takeout) food is only slightly expensive for their portions for the quality... and my most nitpicky review ever: They are incapable of making something really spicy. Have been several times over last 7 months, I beg, I plead, "please make it spicy". They tell me it's "traditional authentic spicy" - yeah right DONT EXPECT SPICY FOOD HERE Solid indian location, close to a 4 if they could finish with spice. Will change review if they can actually deliver spicy.

Came in at 8:50pm and ordered really minimal - dal tadka and shahi paneer with naan bread. It's 9:45pm and I'm still waiting for the food. No apologies, a guy came and told me 10min back that he needs another 3-4 minutes. Sorry, this is unacceptable.

Hole in the wall with uncomfortable seats and a toilet that doesn't flush. Wish I could say something about the food. It looked good on other people's plates. We waited 15 mins for some kid to eventually come over to us. He looked like he was doing everything front of house so I kinda felt bad for him. But he had zero personality and no pep in his step whatsoever. He brought us tap water. Never asked us what we wanted. My wife and mother in-law prefer sparkling water so we asked for it. I asked for a mango lassi which was never served to me. We ordered appetizers which never came out. We waited another 40 minutes before we cancelled the order paid for the water and left.

We went for breakfast on snowy Saturday morning and were treated with amazing Indian breakfast including poori chole, poha, idli sambhar and masala tea. The food was homely, spice level was balanced and freshly cooked . Chole was a real treat- not too oily, garnished with fresh coriander.Overall good service and staff were cordial . Price wise pretty decent at location near Mahwah railway station, right on Route 17. I am looking forward to try their main course some time !!!Vegetarian options: Chole puri

One of the neighborhoods best Indian cuisine options! The service is incredibly slow and I understand the dishes take time but there's no attention to customers at all. Just sitting and waiting and waiting and waiting.

The food is excellent. We got the assorted pakoras and gobi manchurian for appetizers, and dum gobi, palak paneer, malai kofta, and chicken tikka masala as meals. Everyone loved their meals and I would absolutely recommend everything (except as a veggie I of course recommend a veg diet, but that's another story). Dishes can be made vegan upon request. Service was great.Vegetarian options: Very tasty vegetarian and vegan options!Dietary restrictions: Items are marked as gluten-free. Dishes can be made vegan upon request.
