They have the best Italian ices I've ever had. There are lots of flavors to choose from. The staff were extremely friendly and let me try a few flavors. Plenty of space to stand around in the lot which was nice. Prices are great which made the experience even better

Love this place! We stumbled on it driving by and stopped on a whim. It is awesome! Very reasonable prices. Variety of sizes. Healthier alternative to ice cream. It brings me back to my childhood eating Italian ices. We’ve been back MANY times since!

Terrific Italian Ice. Lots of flavors but lemon rules supreme.

The worst refreshment I've ever had. Everything tasted like artificial flavors and had artificial coloring. The pistachio was a fake bright green and you can taste the fake flavor. The cookie dough had a ton of powered sugar mixed in. This place is disgusting and left a bad aftertaste. What a waste of money. We threw it all away.

OMG Is there any better indulgent and yummy ices to choose from ??? NO THE ICE FACTORY IS THE BEST BAR NONE and right in Mahwah NJ YEAH !!!!! Lance and his team are amazing The ice flavors are so very indulgent. I still can't decide if my favorite is holy cannoli, pistachio, coconut, banana chip or even just plain lemon. What a treat to have such genuine flavors. No fake taste. Sorry Rita's, but if you want the best, go to THE ICE FACTORY You will never be disappointed. Check them out. You will be a customer forever. They even do parties with a mobile unit. First experienced them at the Dead Man's Curve Car Show at Crossroads in Mahwah KUDO's LANCE Keep those great flavors coming!!!!

2nd time I have been here first time I had holy Canoli and this time I mixed lemon and lime. Both were excellent homemade ice flavors. Soft but not running and tasted great. Also in this time period you get a nice portion for a decent price. Definitely recommend if your in the area for something sweet and cold.

We love this place!!! It opened a few weeks ago and we are obsessed. The chocolate ice is the best I've ever had!! You have to try the spumoni, too! The prices are great, the service is great-so glad they opened up right here in Mahwah!

Great value, good ices, hidden treat. Give it a try. I wish there was some benches or tables to enjoy the ices outside but very happy with the ices. I’ll come back.
The best ices I’ve had in years. Took me right back to Brooklyn!

Very good. Hidden gem. I will be back. Wish there was some benches or seats for outside but still a great value, very affordable. Will be back!

We really loved the sorbet (Italian ice, or Brooklyn ice, whichever it was) -- it was very refreshing and delicious! It's sandwiched in between two autobody shops that look like junkyard on Rt 202 in Mahwah by the Suffern junction. Don't let that stop you! For $2.50 you can get a nice sized cup of fresh lemon zest pureed ice! The lemon, pink lemonade and the watermelon were all super! Definitely going back before lines start forming.

I was a little suspicious that I'd enjoy this more than other local ice cream spots (ice cream is hard to beat), but the Ice Factory is different from ice cream in a delicious way! The fruit flavors are the best ones - try the sour peaches and cream, or a combo of mango and coconut. It's always nice to have another local place in the rotation for enjoying a refreshing frozen treat on hot summer days. The only downside is the location - there are no tables or benches and the parking lot is not that nice. Winter's Park is not too far, but it would be nice to be able to sit down and hang out here to eat.

All staff members were friendly, the prices are very reasonable for the amount you get and the italian ice is the best in town. Parking is limited but definitely worth a few extra steps.
