The River Palm Terrace Reviews
I would like to start off by saying this name “ River Palm Terrace” has lost a bit of the status that it use to carry by the name alone. This building has been standing here for at least 3 decades and had a recent remodel. I have driven past it for years and associated it with this high class, old world, old money, very luxurious ambiance. I did read some reviews before going, because I was surprised that it had under a 4.5 rating. Typically I do not read reviews beforehand...read full review
I was surprised to be asked for salad as an additional plate as it used to be part of the dinner and was extra charge. A bottle I purchased for the last fifteen years was now $115.00 rather than the $80.00 it used to be. Much more than the supposed 8% inflation rate. I don't imagine I'll be there again ever.
2-25: Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife. This was our second time at this restaurant. The service was great, and the food was out of this world. My wife had the 12oz filet, mash potatoes, and chard broccoli. I had the porterhouse, lobster mac&cheese, and cream spinach. The food just melted in our mouths. I highly recommend this place. To top it off, the drinks were on point.
