The food at LaCabanita is good with authentic flavors. They have a great menu selection, but be warned the portions are big! Good value for the price. Service has varied on our visits but the employees are friendly.

This is the place to go for tacos near or far. Hands down the tastiest place for some good Mexican tacos. Their hot sauces are absolutely the best and glad they put them on the side because the orange/red sauce packs a punch! Love this place

Awful experience! Very rude waitress, never smiled, not welcoming, never asked if our food was good. The short rib special we ordered was full of fat and honestly NEVER saw a short rib that looked Ike that. Rice was cold. Never ever will go back. Disgusting meal and service. Would love to add a photo but dont see where to do it.

Will not order again. Ordered tacos and the meat was crusty and old smelling like it's either been sitting around for a while or they used up some old left overs. Been hurting all night from it. 2 stars because my mom liked her taco shell. :/

Not sure how I decided on this particular Mexican restaurant considering there are quite a handful in Manahawkin, but I am glad I did. First off that atmosphere is the most fun. I love the giant tree in the dining area. It is just such a fun thing to look at. I went with my Mom who doesn’t have much experience with Mexican food at all, but I knew she would love birria tacos and she did. I never had Chilaquiles before so it’s hard for me to say how they would compare, but I enjoyed the meal and thought it was flavorful and filled me up and our waitress was very sweet and the price point was reasonable.

Sauce is terrible the food comes dry and sauce on the side not a Mexican tradition. Sauce is light orange and light green. Should be darker red and darker green molcajete style and it should not be creamy. Very disappointed. Not Puebla style and not good

I tried this place for the first time today. I have never eaten at any of their competitors now with that being said i was really impressed with everything all around, service, portions, prices, BANGIN and super authentic. the dessert was amazing the ice-cream nachos with the strawberry and chocolate syrup. THIS PLACE OS AWESOME!!!
