House Of Biryanis (HOB)

This restaurant Annaporni in manalpan was very good, samber, dosa, utthapam and vedas were excellent. I would go back again. Recommend this place for South Indian cuisine. Did not try their biryani’s but I am sure they are equally good.

Been there thrice so far. First experience was when had just opened and food was good. Second time it was just OK. Third time - we were super excited for the Thursday buffet dinner but it a very disappointing experience. Food was cold / room temperature at most, not cooked well, and inedible. Owner tried to accommodate when rewarming the Idli and refrying the wada but were still uncooked from inside. Dosas were premade and they just warmed before serving. Looks like they may have a new cook but the quality is definitely not what it was when they opened.

Hey guys,
Your food is awesome and delicious, but you increased the spice level too much from some time. Now, we can’t even eat mild level food due to the hotness. We can’t even imagine giving that food to the kids who grow up here. It will be too much for them. Please reduce the spice level if it is possible.

It is our usual hangout place for dine in, especially with BYOB, food are delicious as always, Praveen and Naveen service are excellent , thank you for all the winter discounted prices which makes it more affordable for us to visit quite often

Fresh and well prepared food. The portions were big and. Chicken was very tender. Double ka mheeta dessert was awesome. Highly recommended. I will be going back.

Vegetarian options: Ordered veg biryani - medium spicy and the biryani had no veg and it was full pulav with old rice. Very disappointed for a house of biryani - biryani being so bad !

We came here for dinner tonight and left with satisfied bellies. They make very high quality Indian food. We tried the Hot and Sour soup, House special biryani, Andhra chicken curry, and Apollo Fish. The quantity to price ratio is high and they weren’t skimpy with meats at all. Highly recommend the food from here!

We have ordered two meals dining in. Chicken Tikka masala that I ordered mild was so spicy I couldn’t eat it that I had to order yogurt on the side to mix it with, it was still very spicy .. I love Chicken Tikka and order it a lot in different places.. this was a bit disappointing..

This time we are disappointed with quality of food, goat curry smelled stale had to throw it out, chicken tikka masala had very few chicken pieces and more vegetable. Chicken Dum biryani was very dry and sour.

I was very impressed right after 10 minutes of submitting my review got a call from restaurant management and he noted down my concerns so, updating them to 3 star.
