The cheese steaks are okay The cold sandwiches are not bad, but the last thing that I had from here and probably the last thing I will ever eat from here is the Jersey burger which was not cooked all the way through and a frozen very cheap Patty. oh and I hope you're ready to be ignored when you stand around for five or 10 minutes while they ignore you.

Latin Bites Food truck stopped by my apartment complex the other night and absolutely made my week! The Ropa Vieja and Chicken Empanadas were outstanding! First time trying Tostones and they were incredible as well. Best food we’ve ever had from a food truck. Please come back soon - I want to try the whole menu!
Two stars for service but thats all. The "restaurant" is not a restaurant any longer which is fine. Its set up like a Chinese takeout place in Staten Island. Booth and 2 tables. It isnt pretty or inviting. It has a horrible grease stench.
But most of all the food is so disappointing. Its just not good! Tostones are overly dry and overdone, the hot sauce is probably a water down version of tabasco. The chicken criollo should be good and tasty because it's an easy dish to make but it's not. I'm not sure what possessed me to get mashed potatoes with my order (probably b/c I'm staying away from rice) it was so terrible. I paid over $50 for 2 orders and a side. Which was the yucca mojo. That was pretty good. And although I'm grateful it sure was a waste of my hard earned money.
I don't know if its been my choices but certain staples should be classic go tos. But they dont really have that. I haven't been there in a couple of years because of constant disappointment. I figured maybe it's improved. IMHO it has not. It's unfortunate that as a Hispanic person we have to venture outside of our neighborhood for good Latin take out.
Vegetarian options: They have root vegetable options and steamed veggies.

I never leave reviews.But, They get 5 stars and well deserved! I’ve lived in 3 different states all in Latin communities and born and raised in PuertoRico sooooo no second generation Boriqua tastebuds here lol ? No offense.! So I know quite a bit about authentic PRican food . Let me tell you, OMG the food here (Manalapan Location) is just amazing just like Abuelita cooking and not heavy at all. Had the arroz con gandules and pernil … just like Christmas with the mojo…I’m so glad I found you guys. When here I will be traveling to Manalapan just to eat. Thank you! Boriqua de pura Cepa approved!
