Olde Silver Tavern offers a pleasant dining experience with attentive and friendly staff. The menu features delicious options, including a great hamburger, and a wonderful Mother's Day Buffet with a make-your-own Bloody Mary bar. While prices may be on the higher side, the atmosphere is beautiful and clean, making it a great spot to visit. The restaurant has potential, but some dishes lack flavor and seasoning, such as the filet mignon and mashed potatoes, which were cooked well but had no taste. The beet salad was mostly arugula with tiny pieces of beets, and the rueben egg rolls had little meat and mostly lettuce. On a positive note, the meatball appetizer was very good. A house salad was satisfying, and the chef's preparation of the filet mignon was appreciated. The pan seared salmon over asparagus risotto was good, though the risotto was a bit hard and not very tasty. The restaurant can be noisy, making conversation difficult, but overall, it remains a nice dinner spot with a variety of good dishes.
