“Came here for lunch on a Saturday around 2pm and was a little busy but several seats open. Staff is super friendly and the interior is clean. Didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive at the table.Ordered the beef taco and shrimp tacos. Loved the flavor combination and the beef and shrimp were fresh. The beef and shrimp were a bit too sweet in my opinion but that's if I'm nit picking.I will say for the price per taco, there could be a bit more shrimp and beef. Comparable Mexican tacos come cheaper and with more protein filling. I think to be more competitive, they could do better in that aspect.I also ordered the hotteok with vanilla ice cream and it's phenomenal. Easily one of the best desserts I've had. Absolutely love the texture and flavor combination. The ice cream they use is also amazing. Will absolutely order this every time I come back.“
“Enjoyed an excellent meal last night with friends. Food was great, casual friendly atmosphere, service was excellent. Had the mussels, salads were great, seafood curry, blackened fish special, and short ribs to name a few. Then finished with daily bread pudding special and a tsunami for dessert! “This was our second time ordering from this place. The first time we picked up the order and the order was a little over $150. The second time we had delivery for a $300 order. We had guests in from out of town the second time. The first time, the food was amazing but the second time was even better than the first time. We ordered a little from each category on the menu. You would think for such a big menu there would be inconsistencies and you’ll be wrong. For delivery they came within the time frame stated when ordering the food. The delivery driver was friendly and helpful. The food was super fresh and still hot almost as if we were eating it in the restaurant. The portion sizes are generous and not just thrown in the container; good presentation of the food in the container. I do t think it’s possibility to have any disappointment in the food, we haven’t had a dish we didn’t like yet. The flavor and spices that are used are amazing where most competitors veer away. I highly recommend people who are interested in Asian fusion cuisines to try this place out - you won’t be disappointed. Great job Kumo, keep up the great work and tasty dishes.“

“Way more attention to detail than other similar restaurants. Everything was excellent with a super friendly staff. Sushi is very good with rolls where you can actually taste the ingredients. This is definitely the only place I’m going for sushi from now on. You must go here because the one in Brick is not the same owners. It’s only the same name.“

“Fully stocked bar and packed downstairs during a long weekend, Sat upstairs and service was fast and friendly. They had the usual hibachi fun shinanigans and the environment was great for little kids.I ordered the tuna hibachi and it was overcooked unfortunately. The chicken was cooked well and priced reasonably ($27).The sushi was good & apps too (tuna, fried squid).“
“Such a great Easter dinner with family at Arugula! There were 7 of us in our party. We had a reservation and were seated right away in the front table by the window which I loved. Our server, Gino, was wonderful from start to finish. He was on it all night! love that it is BYOB. He brought us over champagne glasses for our Prosecco right away and a cold glass for the beer. Also he brought over an ice bucket to chill our other bottle of wine. The food was delicious! NY strip was cooked perfectly. The pork with sweet potatoes in a buttercream sauce was award winning and I can see why! Chicken parm was on point! The salad we all received prior to our meals was different and so delicious. Not sure what the dressing was but I loved it. The little bites of pineapple in the salad made it even more delicious. We wanted a group picture after dinner outside and Gino was happy to take it. I loved this hidden gem and will be back for sure! I would probably change some things about the decor but overall great experience!!!!“
“What a gem! We went out for a Saturday night sushi dinner and Asahi did not disappoint! The sushi was so fresh and flavorful, we were taken aback. We’re so glad to have finally found our go to sushi spot. The Japanese sodas are also so good and fun to try! Definitely give this place a shot“
