Got a bagel with cream cheese, an “egg & cheese” (as per their menu states) and a water. The owner rang us up and tells us it will be $19. When we contested this, he said you got 2 egg sandwiches with cheese and bagel. We told him we got one sandwich and a bagel and he didn’t believe us until he fished the order ticket out of the trash. Re-rung us and tells us it’s $17. Questioned this again and he told us you got cream cheese on your bagel and cheese on your egg sandwich, both of which are a dollar. Menu said “egg & cheese” was $4.99, bagel with spread $4.99. Unless the 16 oz water was $9.99, something tells me the owner just charges whatever he wants and expects people not to question it. As if ignoring us the entire time we were in there wasn’t bad enough, this was the nail in the coffin.

In response to owner: we did not get any customizations. We got a bagel with veggie cream cheese & an egg and cheese sandwich (no meat). We were not offered a receipt.

Waited 40 minutes in hot dirty bagel store. Ordered 1 egg white wrap and the order taker never submitted my order. He was drinking and looking right at me! I asked where my order was and he said he never submitted after 40 minutes i suggested to Bob at the cashier that i should not pay and he said fine, i will eat it for dinner. Filthy dirty with no customer service or even decency. Very high prices. Total rip off. AVOID!

Actually it was 42 minutes because while i was waiting there calmly , I was watching the clock . It is terrible that while a mistake was made on your store ‘s part, your customer service includes passing judgement on someone who you do not even know by your response. Perhaps work on your customer service and cleanliness rather than treating your customers so poorly. Avoid!!!!

I was in there and ordered an everything bagel with Tuna on it . As I watched the man make it I noticed he with his bare hands no plastic glove on go into the bucket and place the Tuna on the bagel . I find that disgusting if I wasn’t in a rush I would told him off. I will never go back there again .If I could give less then 1 star I would have .

The service was horrible. Scrooge central. Feel like you’re walking into stuffy prison as the prison guards eye you down. There are other places around where folks will actually smile - go there.

We came here to support the local owners of this shop as my husband’s uncle started this business and sold it to the current owners. We were expecting it to have the same feel and charm and boy were we wrong. We walked in to hot and stuffy air and sadly it was cooler to be outside than in. No one greets you or even smiles at you and you are made to feel like a complete annoyance from the moment you walk in. The omelette was okay, the hash brown was stale, and the “toast” that came with the omelette was two slices of bread out of the bag- it wasn’t toasted. As we left no one thanked us for coming in or acknowledged us and we even said “thank you” on our way out. After our experience we hopped on google to read the reviews, sure enough we are not the only ones to have had similar experiences. It’s sad to think what this business used to be like when the family owned it and what it is now. We will be supporting other businesses as a result.

Best bagels and sandwiches I've had in the tri-state area. I really enjoy the food and the staff is amazing. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner and his family—great people!

Kid-friendliness: Perfect dining spot for the whole family, convenient, and great hours.
