Excellent gluten-free and regular pizzas! We ate both yesterday, and everyone was happy. Simple dining room and friendly service. We'll go back soon.

After a crazy day with unexpected emergencies..seems we all get them and they all unexpected. Anyway got back to squan late. Ordered a specialty pizza for kids and I and can honestly say it was the best Pizza I had in years. Believe me I am a royal pain in the toucas and think all the pizza around shore is mediocre. Yes I am originally from NY sorry to sound obnoxious. When kids were young, used to get pizza here after going to to “pizza park” curtis park under different owners. So glad we found again, blows all the others in the area out of the water. Thanks Espos !!

Love these guys, as someone who operates restaurants, you can tell how much care and effort they put into their food. There's a lot of great pizza on the shore, these guys are a must try for sure. They will quickly become one of your favorites.

Recently, I was home at the Jersey shore visiting my parents for the holiday, which is a place I grew up at and have family living at for over 60 years. We are a proud local family to the Jersey shore. My parents who are in their late 70s often get gift certificates to this restaurant which they save for special occasions to feed the family when everyone is around. We also get their anniversary dinner delivered to them every year from Esposito‘s so we are fans of the food. That being said the last time I was in there, my parents had given me one of their gift certificates to purchase a pizza for the grandkids. This was an older gift certificate, which came with a lot of speculation from the staff behind the counter as I tried to use it, they said that the person who issued it no longer worked there and they had no way to tell what the value on the card was. This was really an issue that seemed quite silly. Seeing as I had the original receipt which my mother had saved to show them as well. The young girl behind the counter, said that the owner might not honor it, which in my mind is illegal. You cannot take money for a gift certificate and not redeem the full value. Now, obviously it would never escalate to anything serious, but being long time locals who would never screw a local business out of any money this came with a sour taste as they tried to sort out if I was using a previously discarded gift card or something like that. I felt like they were making me out to be some sort of criminal when I was literally going to pick up a single pizza for my elderly parents and their grandchildren to have dinner a pizza which I would’ve happily paid for if I didn’t have the certificate. It wasn’t exactly the best Christmas spirit I will tell you that. All that aside I believe in local businesses, I believe that the girl behind the counter was fearful to ask her employer about honoring the gift certificate, but I do think this place is great and will continue to be great and services. Manasquan greater area very well that being said as a reviewer, I cannot give it a five star for the service.

Everytime I go always restaurant late never in time take 30 minutes a young ladies are so rude it seems their parents didn’t teach them to be nice or have values only older lady is nice and beautiful person

I used to love this place especially as a person who is gluten free. Last few times things have been so off and the food was so bad I had to send it back. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt and kept coming back hoping it was a bad night, sadly that doesn’t seem to be the case. Even when I catered from them they charged me for sauce on the side with an eggplant dish (they did not provide extra sauce).

We go to the Matawan location all the time. Love the food, and the staff always makes us seem special, so we figured after watching plays at the Algonquin, we would try their Manasquan location. We gave them 3 chances..... below is our experience....
They had plenty of empty tables while I was waiting to be seated. 4 employees basically stepped over me without addressing me. Finally upon me asking "should I just sit myself?" They told me to go outside and wait for the hostess (who wasn't there). I went outside and he came, and as he led us inside, he slipped through the door nearly dropping it on my very obviously handicapped mother in her 70s, from behind her, myself and the random customer behind me both jumped to catch the door in surprise. (he didn't even notice).
The waitress kept complaining and appears to "lose it" after 4 tables. We had to ask several times for our bottle of wine to be opened, until finally, a kid handed us a opener to open ourselves. We asked for sauce for the bread 4 times, finally receiving it after the main dishes came out.
The food was delicious, as expected. But the service.... just seems like a cultural issue at this location. Which is a shame, because we wanted to love it as much as we do Matawan.... which is why we tried it 3 times.
