I tried a quick lunch at Surf Tacos in Manasquan. Cool place, clean with a beachy vibe and interior. Service was prompt, which is always good. I ordered the $15 plate with 2 tacos, chips, beans, rice, and a drink that is a substantial meal. Opted for a Mahi and a Surf (breaded cod) taco to mix it up. They have a nice salsa bar, and I tried a little of them all. Drink offers soda or a tea dispenser.

I’ve been ordering from this location since it opened, for maybe two decades. In all those hundreds of orders, I’ve had an incorrect item maybe once. Respect to the staff there. Also, the actual Surf Taco is a classic.

I was so excited to finally have lunch at one of my favorite places to stop when at the beach. Since I don't live in the area, it's been a few years since I had the opportunity to stop in.Was disappointed that they no longer have the Baja bowl on the menu.I chose the Malibu veggie bowl instead.My order was to go, so I'm not sure what the temp was when it was picked up.It wasn't bad cold ...I remember everything always delicious.
