JB’s 57 diner and the staff are wonderful! I’ve been going there for years! The entire staff always support our military and veterans more than most places I’ve been too. Highly recommend!

Food was mediocre...I ordered unsweetened tea and it was spoiled. Potatoes were undercooked. Porkroll wasn't even grilled..waitress was friendly though.

Between the decorations and the staff we felt like we traveled back in time! Definitely an old school diner hang out feeling! The prices of the meals were also cheaper than most and food was good size servings

Food wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. I could've had McDonald's for way less. My problem was with the 2 old miserable bags serving tables. Totally unfriendly. I'm not returning. There are much better diners.

1st time at this local diner, today. It was amazing. The food, staff, cleanliness, $$ and atmosphere was simply: FANTASTIC! I worked in a Mom &Pop diner up north, this was by far, GREAT! Next to ShopRite, go, you won’t be disappointed.
we WERE. past tense. customers of yours. my wife can't have carbs. so in lieu of fries with her eggs she requested a slice of tomato. the older waitress said very nasty. oh no we charge you for that and I couldn't care less what yu do with the fries. left immediately and now having lunch up at road at. Lake Hurst. diner. with a substitute. slice of tomato. with out standing service. not with a very nasty server. that you employ. by the way. lakehurst diner very busy. your. nasty. diner. was empty. obviously you are desperate for servers. to hire this. should be out of work server. good luck. good. riddance. we now come here twice a week instead of your diner with very sub par. waitresses

I really love this diner . Today I wanted to treat my two grandchildren ages 8 and 10 to the great cheeseburgers and fries. We walked in and took a seat. The two waitress were a little busy. We sat a few moments, neither approached us. I asked my granddaughter to get us a menu. We still sat another few moments with no greeting. I watched as tables were being cleaned , walk in guest ordering at the counter, attending to new customers after we arrived. After about 15 minutes of no greeting at all , I asked the waitress why we were being ignored? She claimed she didn’t see us . We were sitting right in the the middle of the diner where we were perfectly noticeable. I was in this diner many times. I was very disappointed and upset that we were ignored. I believe it was because I had children with me. My grandchildren are very well behaved and didn’t deserve to be ignored. I really love this diner but I really don’t know if I’ll be back . Maybe your waitresses need help , one of them had an attitude. We left and went to McDonald’s where we were treated kindly. I’m sorry to report this incident , I was trying to give my grandchildren a good meal and a memory with me . It didn’t turn out that way. They were asking me why the lady didn’t want to take our order.

It's a cute little place but holy crap the prices are nuts. The waitress definitely made up prices. We got the check and it was 35 and then we went up paid. The prices on the menu are wrong. Just a little upset but they prices for such a little place it's crazy ??
