Best Mexican Spot in NJ Hands Down!!! The Birria is amazing. I had the Chimichanga Birria and it was so good. Staff was super nice, Yanci was my waitress and took care of me wonderfully. You gotta try this spot!
Mira, I love eating here—dining in or taking food to go. But I have to say, I’m a little frustrated. I ordered two plates, and yet I only got one salsa verde. When I came back to ask for the second one, I was told it would be $1. I don’t mind paying, but honestly, if I order two plates, shouldn’t I automatically get two salsas? It just doesn’t feel fair.

Have been wanting to try La Raza for a while now and finally got there a few days ago. Love the atmosphere and felt right at home in the quaint, meticulously decorated dining area. Everyone was happy with their food as the quesadilla was good and the carnitas were fine. I was most impressed with the birria tacos and would definitely go back as we didn’t try the guac! See you again soon La Raza!
