Went there for the first time ever n met Ava an employee there n I gotta say she has the most AMAZING energy n attitude!! An old fashioned ice cream spot with tables to sit at and enjoy a nice treat. They have an excellent small vanilla shake and they don't skimp on the whipped cream. It costs about $5 and the sizing is more equivalent to a medium. All of the ice cream tastes fresh. Although prices are higher than we are used to, the quality is worth the cost. Before trying Board Walk Ice Cream, I thought Torico had no competition, but good news for ice cream lovers—this place is a gem, even if you’re far from Jersey City. I had the Swiss Chocolate and Coffee Mud Pie with wet walnuts and hot fudge, while my girlfriend enjoyed Cake Batter and Cookies 'n Cream with hot fudge and sprinkles.
