It was just okay! I order the chicken and when I got it it was no thicker than a nickel. I placed an order for 2 dishes and it was $30.00. I myself am Latino and i can tell you I have ordered from many different Spanish establishment and never pay that much for rice beans chicken and beef. I can go next door order get rice,beans,chicken,beef ribs for under 30 and feed 4. Unfortunately I will never eat there again.

First of all this is a COSTA RICAN Restaurant NOT MEXICAN. Their service is ok, if you are not Tico (from Costa Rica) you will notice the difference in service. Also their staff spend more time chit chatting than actually serving their non Tico customers, however their food is excellent. Try any "Casado"

I ordered an item from the Typical side of the menu. Most of the entrees were listed as $10, but the liver and the fish were listed as $12. I ordered the fish. The bill came - the fish was now $13. I asked the waitress to explain. She said most of the items were $10, but the liver and fish were "more." I asked to see the menu. It, again, said $12. Why was she overcharging me? She said the prices have gone up, and "we haven't gotten around to correcting the menu." I said I wanted the $12 fish. She took the bill back and came back with a charge card receipt for approximately the correct amount. But the tax was figured wrong. On a bill for $19 the 7% tax should be $1.33. She charged $0.87. The state of NJ seems to have been shorted $0.46 I think it is probably illegal to try to charge prices that are different from those posted on a menu, and to fail to collect the required sales tax.. The food was pretty good.

Great food and reasonable prices. Also the owner, Mario, is a very nice guy. Overall there was a nice variety of foods. I personally got the Oxtails and loved them. I recommend this place if you are in Manville.
