Was good, but would have been better if they didn't forget the mayo.

I recently visited this beautiful Bagel cafe, and while the food was decent, the customer service was extremely disappointing. The cashier was rude both over the phone and in person, which made the entire experience unpleasant. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, thinking it was early and she might have been tired, but her attitude remained dismissive and unprofessional. I had called ahead to order a bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel, and when I confirmed my order, she told me it was a “scrambled bacon bagel.” When I asked if it included cheese, she ignored me twice and abruptly told me my total. Because of her attitude and lack of courtesy, I wouldn’t return to this location despite the food being okay.

I’ve been living in Maplewood since 1999 & these were the best bagels in the area. Today it was so bad I don’t think I’ll ever be back. Bagel is not fresh, barely toasted.. just gross. They’re upcharging to have 2 eggs on a breakfast sandwich? Since when do you get one egg on a bacon egg and cheese… upping your prices when the quality is going down is crazy work. I’ll be going to Goldbergs in millburn from now on.

They make the best Taylor ham, egg and cheese bagel sandwich. The wait is very short and the staff is always great.

This morning was my first time at this place. I ordered a toasted everything bagel, it was not toasted at all and not fresh. The place seems nice and is in a good location. Maybe next time I will have a better experience!

Bagels are good sandwiches are too small. I had Taylor ham, egg and. cheese 1 egg, 2 pieces, taylor ham and 1 piece of cheese not worth the money. What happened to 2 eggs? 4 pieces of taylor ham and 2 pieces of cheese. They can't be that cheap.

Whenever we go to New Paltz, New York, we stop there. I always have a buttered raisin cinnamon bagel and hot chocolate. Yum, yum, yum 😋

Kid-friendliness: There are usually children eating there.

I’ve discovered so many new bagel flavors from this spot. Love the food and it’s a very cozy spot.

Good food for good prices especially their breakfast special with 2 eggs, meat, hash browns and bread under $10.

5 eggs and bacon on a flagel, $13, and I questioned it and all the girl said was “yeah”. Rip offs , and their bagels are junk too. Their bagels are like frozen Lenders bagels.

To begin with, the place is dirty. In the half hour we were there, no one wiped down the tables. Diners, cleaned the tables and chairs before they ate. The topping for the everything bagels was mostly sesame and poppy seeds: no dried onion or garlic. The whitefish salad was tasteless as if some kind of cheap filler fish had been used. Too bad; it used to be good.

So annoyed!! I ordered a bagel with olive cream cheese UNtoasted, which I stressed because the recipient only likes it that way. Bagel wrapped in foil was HOT to the touch-I told them I asked it not be toasted. Employee AND manager said it wasn’t toasted (I knew it wasn’t freshly baked since they were closing in 10 mins.). They said it’s hot because it’s fresh baked-well they lied-it was BLACK inside, so not only toasted, but burnt. Why not just make another one???
