Bagels are good sandwiches are too small. I had Taylor ham, egg and. cheese 1 egg, 2 pieces, taylor ham and 1 piece of cheese not worth the money. What happened to 2 eggs? 4 pieces of taylor ham and 2 pieces of cheese. They can't be that cheap.
Whenever we go to New Paltz, New York, we stop there. I always have a buttered raisin cinnamon bagel and hot chocolate. Yum, yum, yum đ
Kid-friendliness: There are usually children eating there.

Iâve discovered so many new bagel flavors from this spot. Love the food and itâs a very cozy spot.
Good food for good prices especially their breakfast special with 2 eggs, meat, hash browns and bread under $10.

5 eggs and bacon on a flagel, $13, and I questioned it and all the girl said was âyeahâ. Rip offs , and their bagels are junk too. Their bagels are like frozen Lenders bagels.

To begin with, the place is dirty. In the half hour we were there, no one wiped down the tables. Diners, cleaned the tables and chairs before they ate. The topping for the everything bagels was mostly sesame and poppy seeds: no dried onion or garlic. The whitefish salad was tasteless as if some kind of cheap filler fish had been used. Too bad; it used to be good.

So annoyed!! I ordered a bagel with olive cream cheese UNtoasted, which I stressed because the recipient only likes it that way. Bagel wrapped in foil was HOT to the touch-I told them I asked it not be toasted. Employee AND manager said it wasnât toasted (I knew it wasnât freshly baked since they were closing in 10 mins.). They said itâs hot because itâs fresh baked-well they lied-it was BLACK inside, so not only toasted, but burnt. Why not just make another one???

For one, expect to pay $7+ dollars for a basic breakfast sandwich like a B.E.C on a plain bagel. Get any different bagel or add-ons and itâs $10 for a babyâs sandwich with zero flavor. Secondly, the biggest problem with these people, you look up at the menu price above the counter and they hand you a ticket with a price thatâs 3+ dollars added onto it. Then you get to the register and they add tax. Genuinely donât know where they get the ticket price numbers from, they add a dollar per ketchup squirt and bagel toasting time. Yesterday I asked the asian guy for 2 eggs. The price went from $6 to $4 after I told him the menu price (which was $3.50 but he added .50¢ I guess for the pen ink fee). He hands me my order, starts an arguement with me and tells me next time donât just order 2 eggs. Babe are you good? This is a breakfast spot right? So I walked out with a plate of 2 sunny side up eggs, no toast, just eggs for almost $5. Guys just go to your bodega where you get a foot long breakfast sub for 4 dollars.

The Goldilocks of bagelsâŚ. I tried a lot of bagels in nearby Milburn and South Orange but I keep returning to Bagel Chateau. The bagels are not too thick or thin. I also receive prompt service and easy parking compared other nearby villages.
