Authentic Mexican cuisine in downtown Maplewood on one of their side streets near a parking lot. I have never seen a lot of people dine in at Cactus Charly, so not sure if there are more take out orders than indoor patrons. The restaurant is very colorful with painted walls and furniture depicting Mexican events. The wait staff is somewhat friendly and they are BYOB. They have a nice selection of food items, but it's a hit or miss if the food is good or not. I once got food...

The BEST and most authentic Mexican in our area. Everything on their menu is delicious but some of my favorites include the guacamole, crabmeat enchiladas and anything with their mole poblano sauce. Portions are great for take out and dine in and everything is always made fresh. Their tres leches is a MUST TRY and the only one I will eat other than my mother's. I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Always delicious. Have a big mug of horchata.

Parking: Municipal parking lot across the street, sometimes full at peak times but usually lots of room.

Wheelchair accessibility: Stairs to get in, unfortunately for accessibility. In good weather you can probably eat at a table out front.
