My first time here and I have to say the cupcakes themselves…they taste exactly like the ones I make at home now I’m not sure if that’s a knock to this business or a compliment to myself. I will definitely be trying other flavors if ever in the area but not a place I would go out of the way for.

I really love this place and have been coming here since they opened years ago. They actually did my wedding cake! The cake topper was an actual cake, but we froze it after the wedding to eat on our first anniversary and it was AMAZING! I have never had a flavor that I did not like, try all of them! This place is a staple in Maplewood!

We usually order on Doordash to our office for occasions. My biggest complaint is that they never confirm the order and then I have to contact Doordash support so they can contact the restaurant to confirm it. If you're going to offer a service on Doordash, as least be prepared to look for orders when they come in. It's really inconvenient.
other then that, the cupcakes are always great. the mini ones were quite dry this last time which was disappointing. i hope that Gigi's is not going downhill.
So Gigi’s cupcakes are pretty much my go to place when I want a little sweet treat as the cupcakes have always been fabulous. It’s been 2 months since I went and they are still good but definitely not as good as they used to be. I had my fav- banana with buttercream, black velvet and vanilla on vanilla and all 3 were just ok this time as the cupcake itself were dry/stale. I’m hoping this is just a one-off. One thing that did annoy me was that I purchased 6 mini cupcakes and needed to split so asked for just one container to separate and they now charge $2.75 for an extra container, like really. But anywho, still would return.
