We were in the area and stopped for a late lunch at the Park Wood Diner. I felt like a burger and ordered the blue burger supreme. Was not impressed as the burger was well done and not by order of medium. The burger itself was not seasoned so a bit disappointing. Decided to have dessert and ordered a slice of plain cheesecake and it was delicious. I would recommend it highly. My wife ordered the chocolate cream pie which was also delicious.

Stop at this place late at night to get dinner and surprisingly the food was pretty good. I have the Jersey pork chops which were cooked perfectly with applesauce which I hadn't had since I was a baby was good too and a baked potato. I also tried the chicken and shrimp Napoleon and it was okay the sauce could have been a bit better and they were stingy with the shrimp but you definitely could tell they put good sometime into it just the wrong type of sauce. The soup was chicken and rice and it was bland and all you could taste was the broth. The staff was good, It was a diner, so if you haven't been to a diner I don't know how to explain it but most of them are all the same it just depends on the food so the atmosphere is the same. If you haven't been to this diner I suggest you give it a try.

I love this place mostly because I can get veggie sausage with my breakfast. In my experience diners don't offer veggie anything but lettuce and tomatoes.

Incredibly rude owners. The son demanded we tip on the card when we had already left cash on the table. The nerve of these Greek losers!

Friendly diner on Springfield Avenue in Maplewood, New Jersey. Large noontime crowd on a Sunday. I had scrambled eggs with hash browns (which are deep fried I was told), and both were above average. Tables are close together to meet the demand, but service was very good overall. Good experience.

Parkwood is a favorite for me and my stepdaughter. She is a young lady with special needs and has some food limitations. The good people at ParkWood always make sure her food is prepared correctly and they always greet her with a big hello.

The food is awesome btw.

I've been coming to eat at parkwood since I was a high-school student at Columbia. One morning I ordered online. When I came for pick up, I gave them my name and they told me I may have mistakenly ordered from Maplewood diner. Mind you I see the bag sitting on the counter and they didnt check it. I pulled up my order with the order number and he still didnt look at my bag on the counter. I assumed it wasn't mine, then he finally checked it and said I didnt add my name on the order. MY NAME WAS ON THE RECEIPT. I usually dine in. Probably never returning.

Food was delicious, we had the French dip sandwich and the breaded chicken platter with the cheesy rice. The chicken dish was incredible. Portion sizes are generous. Prices are on the higher end for a diner. The inside is nicely maintained and the booths are comfortable. Service was good. Will def be back.
