Delicious and efficient

I read the reviews before going and regret not listening to them. I have never had a cheesesteak that was as bad as this. I always thought one could not get a bad cheesesteak, just a mediocre one. Well I was wrong.They don’t even try to hide the fact they use frozen meat and just cook it in a stack, not even breaking it apart to break through the sinewy, stringy pieces of frozen, tasteless meat. I bought three whole cheesesteaks to the tune of $79 to take back with me to the West Coast for my family. After trying one here in Jersey, I threw them away, not bothering to transport them. What a disappointment! Horrible.

I really love Dino's; it's a beloved institution. However, I feel that the quality has declined from what it once was. It's still a great place for a tasty lunch by the beach, but it may not be my first choice anymore.

so sad to post this rating. have been coming here and enjoying Dino’s for the last 30 years and ordered my first of the summer. sad to say I was very disappointed by the cheesesteak- it tasted like steak-um’s! very little cheese or “steak-um” for that matter. to whoever made this decision- reconsider- as more people find this they will stop coming!

Stopped in today for a quick bite. Have heard good things about their cheesesteak, but noticed the cook grab a 'steak'um'-like steak for another order as I was contemplating my options. I decided on a slice of pizza because, well, pizza is hard to mess up. I'm not saying they 'messed up' the pizza because they didn't, but it was really disappointing. I can't say for certain that the dough wasn't made in-house, but it sure tasted like it had been frozen. Cheese was plentiful but didn't make up for the dough. I'll stop back and try something else at some point & potentially update my rating, but I don't know how this place is at 4+ stars based on what I saw today? Two stars because the service was friendly...

Total slop - Got a chicken cheesesteak and regular steak that looks and tastes like steakum. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Remember Finding Waldo? Try to find the chicken.....

Our favorite subs at the shore!!! Such an important part of the community. Really kind people. Really consistent food. We always get the turkey sub , the whipped tuna, or the cheesesteaks with fries, but honestly we haven’t ever tried anything from here we didn’t like. Perfect for lunch on the beach. We have gotten delivery quite a few times and it’s always quick and delicious
