Miyako Japanese Sushi & Steakhouse

Appalling food. Sushi looks like it was made by a five-year-old and slapped on my plate. 10 pieces of TINY sushi for $30? Tourist trap!!

My friend and I just came here and got the hibachi meal and an appetizer. It was so reasonably priced and everything tasted great.

Good food, absolutely terrible portions for the price of the hibachi meals.

Ordered chicken teriyaki and if I didn't know any better I'd swear the chicken was cooked hours prior and just slightly reheated. Granted we didn't sit at the hibachi tables but I would have hoped they cooked the chicken to order. The way my stomach and my wife's stomach felt the next day, I don't think the food was cooked at the time we ordered it. It's sad because we have eaten here in the past and were always happy with the food.

My coworker and I each bought Groupons for $30 worth of menu items at the cost of $13. We both went in, each ordered $30 separately and then we were told at the very end that we were only able to use one groupon.

We asked for separate checks and the waitress said no very rudely. She would not let us reason with her and just kept saying "no. no. no." It was extremely rude. She could have explained it more politely, but also they should have told us this when we sat down because we told them when we arrived "we have two groupons".

The food was also not good. The kani salad was extremely dry (nowhere near enough sauce) and the sushi rolls were very small compared to how expensive they were. You can get larger, fresher rolls for a better price at Sushi Town in EHT or Jings in Somers Point. Will not return.
