Miyako Japanese Sushi & Steakhouse

Ordered chicken teriyaki and if I didn't know any better I'd swear the chicken was cooked hours prior and just slightly reheated. Granted we didn't sit at the hibachi tables but I would have hoped they cooked the chicken to order. The way my stomach and my wife's stomach felt the next day, I don't think the food was cooked at the time we ordered it. It's sad because we have eaten here in the past and were always happy with the food.

My coworker and I each bought Groupons for $30 worth of menu items at the cost of $13. We both went in, each ordered $30 separately and then we were told at the very end that we were only able to use one groupon.

We asked for separate checks and the waitress said no very rudely. She would not let us reason with her and just kept saying "no. no. no." It was extremely rude. She could have explained it more politely, but also they should have told us this when we sat down because we told them when we arrived "we have two groupons".

The food was also not good. The kani salad was extremely dry (nowhere near enough sauce) and the sushi rolls were very small compared to how expensive they were. You can get larger, fresher rolls for a better price at Sushi Town in EHT or Jings in Somers Point. Will not return.

Hibachi was incredibly delicious! The chef was amazing, and he made my child laugh non-stop with his funny tricks. The food was fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend for a fun family meal!

**Review of Miyako Hibachi Restaurant**

I recently visited Miyako Hibachi and was thoroughly disappointed. While the food was decent, it was certainly not worth the overpriced $25 per person. The portions were small, leaving me questioning if I got my money's worth. The lack of interaction from the staff made the experience dull and unmemorable.

To make matters worse, the service was poor. When it came time to discuss the bill, the staff was rude and impatient, making what should have been a simple process unnecessarily stressful. My friends and I were extremely dissatisfied with the overall atmosphere. Adding insult to injury, we were required to pay a tip of almost $40, which felt entirely undeserved given the level of service we received.

Overall, our experience at Miyako Hibachi was highly unsatisfactory, and I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food was amazing, and the service was fabulous. The restaurant was a little noisy with all the hibachi tables being used.

Parking: Parking was hard to find on the surrounding streets, so make sure you factor in time to find a spot.

I have taken out Vegetarian Sushi for lunch hours at times from these place and they are well made. They come along with Ginger, Soy Sauce and Chop Sticks. Very reasonably priced.

So fun! And delicious

This place is okay. The sushi was really good especially the price being $43 dollars for 3 people (we got 9 rolls total) but the service was horrible in my opinion. When we first ordered we all got 2 rolls of sushi each. It took around 45 minutes!!!! Yes I said 45 minutes!!! To get our food and the place wasn't even packed. People who came in after us literally got their food before us which makes no sense. But the craziest part is when we all ordered 1 more roll the guy gave it to us in 6 minutes. Like how come did it take 45 minutes to make some sushi at first and then 6 minutes to make sushi..??? Was it really worth the wait..?? I don't really know but we all really enjoyed our sushi. Maybe we might give it one more chance if we ever crave for sushi. I would of gave this place 5 stars if the service wasn't horrible.
