As usual, everything from the drinks to the hummus platter to our entrees (whole branzino and filet mignon) was exceptionally good. Our server, Vinny, was ok, but we kept having to raise our voices to get his attention.

Been to Sophias several time and was always very nice. This time not so much. Drinks took forever to arrive. Our wives ordered Lamb Chops, one was over cooked(charred) and the other raw (had to be sent back). Mussels appetizer tasted old and fishy. I ordered the filet and it was good. My friend ordered the Bronzino and he said it was good as well. The highlight was the wait staff, they were very nice. Perhaps since its end of season there is less staff working? Not sure but hope this doesn't become the norm since this is one of our favorite shore restaurants

We absolutely love Sofia and Jenn our waitress couldn't have been more charming it is our favorite spot in Margate and we will continue to hopefully enjoy wonderful evenings for many years

We were just there on 9/20/25. Though the dinner was good and the server was great, the time it took to get our main dish was unacceptable. It took 40 minutes for us to get our main dish after the appetizer. Our server told us that the kitchen was behind but they never offer us anything to make up for it. Not a free appetizer, dessert or coffee. I usually tip 25% but decided to tip a lot lower this time. I know this is not the servers fault but this is a reflection of the restaurant. We have never, ever, had to wait for our food that long before. We understand that things happen but the fact that nothing was offered to make the situation better, left a sour taste in our mouths.

We were drinking at the bar and all of a sudden the lights were dimmed, the music turned off, and we were abruptly handed our check. They weren’t due to close for another 40 minutes. We were forced to chug our wine. We are forever traumatized and will not return. This all could have been avoided if the y had the decency to announce last call.
We had a wonderful dinner! Sometimes it's hard to find restaurants that can accommodate both a meat lover and someone who's vegan...but Sophia came through! The Greek salad was one of the best we've ever had (and we just returned from Greece!) It was very nice they offered vegan feta for the salad! The moussaka was delicious as was the (vegan) grilled eggplant steak. We also loved the warm pita and olive oil. Our server, Vinnie, was incredibly attentive and added to us having a wonderful time.

A wonderful experience. Jenna was a great server and the food was far above average. The Bronzino filet fell a little flat but the bread, fried cauliflower, chopped salad, moussaka, and rice pudding were all excellent. A beautiful restaurant with great food. We'll be back... Tony G

Another wonderful meal at Sofia! This is one of our favorites. After the Eagles win yesterday, we decided to head over to Sofia for a bite. We decided on a bunch of appys for 3 of us. Everything was amazing. Ktipit, Sagaganiki, Lamb Chops, Greek Salad and Octopus were all amazing! Perfect for a late bite on a Sunday and we all shared. Keylime Pie Martini is the best on the island (I think I have tried them all!). I also recommend their dinners. The restaurant is beautiful and the plants on the 2 patios are meticulously maintained by Sofia.

They were wonderful. We were supposed to sit outside but a storm was brewing. We asked to sit inside which on a busy Saturday night they accommodated us to a lovely room. We had great service wonderful food. It was just a lovely evening.
