The baristas that work there are very rude always give you a dirty look and make you feel like you’re doing something wrong. They give me a prejudiced feeling against myself and my family. They actually threw my niece out and told her not to come back and when I was in there, taking a picture of myself to send to my daughter, she jumped on me and told me not to take her picture when I wasn’t. I deleted the pictures to honor Her request, but when I looked on the Internet, her picture is clearly in A few of the pictures advertising the store, she told me to leave and her coworkers not to serve me she is very prejudice and clearly I don’t know why no one ever gave her an attitude until she jumped on me. I don’t know what happened to the concept of. I’ve been in business all my life and anytime a Felt like they wasn’t being served right I apologize and immediately made her feel very comfortable, where they jumped on me and told me not to come back to her store and clearly it isn’t her store The workers name is Miley And I have notified my lawyer about the prejudiced remarks that she made referring to my niece myself and my children as “you people”

My name is Pastor Sam Mitchell and I’m a leader in the Gypsy community in Atlantic County for our Roma people. A few months back, my granddaughter went into the Starbucks in Margate on Ventnor Avenue and they encountered an employee by the name of Miley who told her she was a dirty gypsies and she refused to serve her And told her to leave. So when my granddaughter came back crying. I told her don’t make much of it. Honestly I thought to myself maybe she might have overheard her wrong or maybe the employee was having a bad day or something, I didn’t wanna make a big deal out of it. But then to my surprise when I walked in this afternoon the same person by the name of Miley refused to serve my wife and I and raised her voice to my wife and told us I do not serve Gypsy people and told us to leave. My wife and I were so embarrassed. I don’t believe behavior like this towards other individuals could still take place in 2024 I am contacting my attorney and the Margate Police Department. I refuse to be harassed in this manner.

I used to like it here before they did the remodeling. They took out the fireplace and it was so nice in winter to have that peaceful calm space to sip your coffee and chat. Now it feels like so bland boring space. I get it perhaps the owners thesis franchise is private owned through Starbucks franchises. With that said they probably want you to get your coffee to go. There’s limited tight spaces for sitting outside and it’s located in a very walkable area of Margate with local restaurants and bars and shops on both sides of the street. It’s very clean inside but I miss the old Starbucks with fireplace. Baristas are very friendly and nice! Parking is very limited and spots fill up fast.

Asked the young black kid for a medium coffee he looked at me with blank stare .. tried to use the Starbucks app and doesn’t work the other girl tells me they can’t use the app ?? No idea why ? Then he hands me a hot coffee? No sir iced means with ice .. $4.11 down the drain it tastes like metal water and stale socks ?.. don’t go here people are rude and not knowing what’s going on .. waste of my money on garbage ?️now

Annoyed, I got my usual order but asked for it in a larger cup since I’m driving. She filled it to the brim, with more milk. I got an extra pump of chai for the small but now that’s diluted and my cup spilled the second I started driving. $9 drink that tastes only like oat milkEdited from 3 to 1 star: I tried. I went back and reordered in the clearest way possible. There is no way there was more than 1 pump of chai in this. Couldn’t taste the shot of espresso either. I swear I just paid $7+ for a small cup of steamed oat milk.

I go here every week( blackwood Clementon road location)and the staff is normally kinda rude however i do enjoy Starbucks.today I heard "Jenn"( her name tag said) and other staff members curse at a customer.Curse!! What is going on these days with people!!?? They poked this lady so bad until she finally told them off. Then another staff member threatened to come outside!! I guess to fight the customer??Wow like wow starbucks.I will drive an extra few miles from now on to go to a different store.
